Introduction: One down

Simon's p.o.v.
I let out a sigh sitting in the chair. I watch as Josh paces the room. "It will be fine," Tobi states from the chair opposite me trying to reassure the distressed boy. Josh just rolls his eyes. My heart aches for him. This all just happened at once. One minute Lewis was just doing a normal job. Then he was gone. Yes we all knew there was a risk with these jobs. But, usually everything was fine. The sound of footsteps catch my attention making me look to the door. "Vik hacked into the base...It was officer Freezy who shot him." Ethan says walking to Josh. I gulp seeing a murderous look turn on Josh's face. "Right. I'll make a plan. Ethan and Tobi help Harry find a newbie. We're gonna need more back up." Josh commands making both boys nod. They get up and walk out. But, not before Tobi shots me a reassuring smile. I look to Josh who goes to follow. "J-Josh." I call making him turn to me. I gulp getting up and walking to him. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" He frowns at my question making me sigh. "It's just...I don't want to lose anyone else...I-I can't," my voice breaks a little as tears sting my eyes. Josh's face turns to one of sympathy. He gives a small smile. "I need to show you something," he tells turning on his heel. A frown grows on my face as I follow.

He stops when we reach his office and he opens the door. I give him thankful smile as he holds the door open for me. I walk in and he shuts the door behind me. Quickly he grabs me roughly and pushes me to the door. He connects his lips to mine and places one hand on my side, the other on my face. I kiss back slowly and he deepens the kiss. It takes me a few seconds to realise what's going on. Once I had I push him away taking a deep breath. "I thought we weren't doing this anymore," I breath out. He looks me deep in the eyes and sighs. "I just want you to feel safe. Everything will be okay." He says holding my hands. I squeeze them tightly. Me and josh have always had a special relationship. He's my best friend. And I trust him with my life. It's just better we try to keep things...professional. "I better start making a plan," his voice grabs me from my thoughts and I nod. I watch him move from me then open the door. I walk out giving him a smile. He shuts the door and I sigh slightly. Then head to front room.

My eyes are met with Vik on the computer with the others Harry, Ethan and Tobi watching. I walk over listening to there conversation. "He'd be good." Ethan states. The others nod. When I reach them I see a boy on the screen wearing a bandana. I looked closer and read the notes:
Olajide Olatunji.
Better know as ruthless killer KSI.
Serial killer.

"I'll track him down." Vik says typing quickly. I move away from them and fall on to the sofa. I grab the remote switching through the channels on the tv. I settle on a random one and stare at the screen. My mind begins to wonder. I start to remember my file:
Simon minter.
The heart throb
Will kill mercilessly.

I cringe at the 'heart throb' part. Josh told me to put that in. We all have files incase we want extra jobs. 
I guess it was kinda right. Every girl Josh needed me to get information from, gave me it. All it took was a little flirting. I don't know about boys. Josh would never let me. My eyes begin to grow heavy. I start to wonder about the new boy. Ksi. No matter how good he is he'll never replace Lewis. My heart sinks at the thought of Lewis. He's like my brother. Was. My eyes close and darkness surrounds me. I guess this 'ksi' can't be that bad. With that final thought I drift into a deep sleep.
