Chapter nine

I hear a scream. I open my eyes in fright, I hear another. It was coming from the next room, Robyn's room! I jump up and go towards the wall, I press my ear against it to listen. I hear her crying and screaming Reece's name repeatedly. I'm so scared, what was going on? I slide myself down the wall, crying and screaming. What the fuck is going on, I want to go home! The door swings open, I'm still crying and shaking. I'm terrified, what if he kills her or kills me? I see a outline of a male coming towards me, I let out a scream. "Shh" he says in a soft voice. My head is in my hands, I'm crying and shaking. I'm so scared. He sits beside me and wraps his arms around me and I'm terrified, I look up its Jake. I then rest my head on his chest, tears still rolling down my face as he whispers "shhh" softly in my ear.

**the next day**

I wake up and untangle myself from Jake's arms. I sit on the end of the bed staring at the blank wall in front of me. I feel a hand on my shoulder, I turn around its Jake. "Good Morning babe" he says softly, I smile and look back at the blank wall. I'm so confused, the wanted criminal that kidnapped me and took me to another country so he can trade me for his freedom is now waking up with me and saying 'good morning'. "Well today's the day" says Jake, I think for a second I'm confused what he is saying "what" I reply, "I'm going to try and swap you for my freedom" says Jake in a jolly kind of voice.
