Matt stopped his car in a field filled with hot air balloons. Nami's mouth hung open at his big surprise. He led his shocked girlfriend into a balloon he had reserved and they slowly ascended upwards.
"This has been the best birthday ever," Nanami whispers while resting her head against Matt's shoulder.
"I'm glad you think so." Matt checks his watch and smiles. It's time.
"Nami, I have one more surprise," he said while facing her.
"What is it?" He digs in his jacket pocket and pulls out a small red box then opens it.
"It's not an engagement ring," he warned.
"Promise ring?"
"Yes. I promise to always give you the world and to one day make you Mrs. Champion," Matt beams as he slid the ring onto Nami's left ring finger, ending the night perfectly.
