KAIRIS POV.

6:34am. kairi woke up and walked downstairs, and ate breakfast. getting ready to go to new york with his friends alejandro, alvaro, robert, and roshaun, he was excited to say the least. no one else in the house was awake at the time, so he poured some tequila into his water bottle quickly and put it in his bag. he smiled to himself and waited on the couch for his friends to come get him. he got the text from alejandro and he ran upstairs to tell his mom he was leaving. "mom, i'm going now." she mumbled something and shooed him away. she knew he was going to new york today and coming back the next day, so he didn't feel the need to take any further actions.

kairi ran back downstairs and got his bag and money, and headed out the door. he smiled at the boys when he saw them in the uber. he got in and talked with his friends until he got to the train station. kairi jumped out of the car and rushed the other boys to get out. "kai chill hold on-" robert yelled at him. "sorry bro- i'm just excited!" he calmed down a little bit. they eventually all headed towards the train and got on. i got shoved past many times which made me a little mad. there were no seats left so we were all standing. right before the train started, three more boys squeezed into the train laughing, and shoved alvaro and i practically to the ground.

"OW- DUDE WHAT THE FUCK-" i yelled and stared at the boys. i then regretted that. because. i was staring at the most attractive man i've ever seen. i mean- i'm straight- but like he's really good looking. "what? are you gonna cry?" he laughed. "oh yeah by the way get the fuck out this cart we wanna stand here."

i was dumbfounded. who the fuck did he think he was, talking like that. i got up quickly and the boys got the memo and we all went to the next cart down.
alejandro was hugging alvaro and babying him and alvaro was just slapping him and telling him he was fine. i went on my phone until the ride was over. that incident never left my mind, but faded a little as we we started walking around new york and going into shops. and of course kairi's alcohol. it soon grew dark, as it was 10:47 or so and we honestly didn't have an idea of where to stay for that night, but we eventually discovered an abandoned library so we checked it out.

"UGH- DUDE IT REEKS OF WEED IN HERE- people must go to do drugs in here.." ale gagged. we covered our noses with our shirts. i thought i heard laughing but i brushed it off as it was just my drunk thoughts. i then choked as i saw the boys from earlier smoking in the corner. the 𝑜𝑛𝑒 from earlier looked me dead in the eyes and smirked. "well would you look who it is!" he came up to me, his eyes blood red. my fight or flight kicked in randomly and i punched him straight in the jaw before he touched me. the blunt fell to the floor and i grabbed it, inspecting it. the boy groaned on the floor. his friends were recording and laughing so i didn't pay any mind to them. in a few seconds everyone else was around us. i handed the joint to roshaun and he held it awkwardly.

i kicked the hot kid in the stomach and his friends aswell as mine gasped. "MATTIA DUDE GET UP WHAT THE FUCK-" one of his friends, still in the corner yelled. his name is mattia.. okay.. i ran out of breath and stopped hurting the tall boy under me. he lay there, clutching his stomach and groaning. realization hit me and i sat down and looked at him.
"sorry for beating you up buddy, but you deserve it." he rolled his eyes and closed them, presumably going to sleep. i looked back at his friends and they were as well passed out. i looked back at my friends and they were scratching their heads and looking at me. i pointed to a corner in the room across from the other boys. "we can sleep there if you guys want?" i said. robert's jaw dropped. "kai are you kidding me? you just beat up a kid!" he yelled. "forget it for now!" i walked over to the corner and sat down, quickly falling asleep with the boys talking in the background.
