One random Saturday night, Summer was walking home after going to a nice little local grocery store when she heard something she didn't expect: a small child crying off in the distance.

Obviously confused, Summer went and checked out if it truly was a child. In an alley way she discovered what she hoped wasn't the case: a newborn crying on the ground.

Summer: "Ugh. Who in their right mind leaves a baby in some alley?!" after thinking for a moment, she added "not that it matters now. what DOES matter is getting you a place to stay."

She promptly picked up the newborn, grabbed her groceries, and continued on her way.

Once Summer got home, she started to put away what she bought when Tai opened the door.

"Hello ho-" Tai stopped right there. on his kitchen table was a baby he had never seen before.

Tai: "Where did the kid come from? I don't remember him... well, existing."

Summer sighed and told him the story. "I found him in an alley on my way home, so I brought him here."

Tai:"That's awful. do you know what his name is?"

Summer: "No, I only found him."

Tai thought so. after all, why give a child a name only to ditch it the first chance you got?

Tai: "Well then, how about we name him and keep him ourselves? He certainly won't survive on the streets.

They both thought for a bit, and eventually agreed on the name (y/n).

However, they were a bit too loud in doing so, and accidentally woke up Yang who was two.

Yang, who still found walking a bit of a challenge, barely managed to walk into the entryway to simply say, "Mommy? Daddy?"

Summer and Tai found this quite cute and decided to show her new little brother to her before sending her back to bed.

Summer  showed the newest family member to Yang who was quite excited.

Yang : "Whoa! anoffer one?" (her speaking is not yet perfected) she asked, a huge smile on her face.

Tai: " how about mommy puts you to bed so you can play with your brother and Ruby tomorrow?"

Yang was not a huge fan of this idea. How was she supposed to sleep when something so exciting was happening?

Nonetheless she agreed, as she wanted to play with him asap and sleeping would apparently help accomplish that.

While Summer tucked Yang in again, Tai went and put (y/n) in the 5 month old ruby's crib as a temporary spot for him to sleep.

They cared about (y/n) just as much as Yang and Ruby. He was now family, and they loved him. That would never change... Right?
