The Sleepover

(Sam's POV)

As i flop on my bed, relaxing and enjoying the thought of not doing homework I think to myself.

Man, what a long day today, everything seemed so slow, and the just me thinking about the atmosphere i was breathing all day from hallways, ugh it smelt like sickness  everywhere. Well i guess its just that time of the year where everyone is coughing and such...

*Vrrb vrrb*. I look to my side and see my  phone vibrate in the distance "Oh, thats probably Maggy calling." I pick it up and looks at the caller ID "Yup just as i thought" i accept the call, only to hear Maggy yell an earfull of words.

"Whoa Maggy Slow down! Whats so important  you just had to yell at me for?" She calms herself in order to reply "I just saw the craziest thing on the news!! I started chuckling because she usually tells me the weirdest things out of all seven of us.

"Okay, so the reporter was talking about a fire that happened somewhere in Los Angeles then out of nowhere someone screams and the camera quickly zooms in on it, they only show a little bit of what was filmed so i couldnt really make it out what they were showing. "I try to act curious even though im not really interegd by it. 

"Maybe there just showing some crazy mental drunk guy whos lost and confused, so what?" I  reply with what sounded like a confused tone. "No, i saw it..it tried...to..g-grab the.. person..a-and....b-bite her..."

Maggy sounded uneasy, as if what she saw, she knows she saw it. I try to calm her down by saying something more positive and uplifting  "Hey Mag, its okay your probably just way to excited like i am to finally have 2 weeks off!"

Maggy and i stay silent for about 10 seconds "Heh, I guess your right maybe i am just too hyped up! Were still going to have that sleepover right?" Maggy asks in a settling voice.

"Of course we are! We  better tell the rest of the seven, i'll talk to you later okay? Bye!" I hang up and jump back on my soft bed, i lay there just thinking about what Maggy said to me.

I dont know what to feel right now,  those kinds of things dont appear on the news just like that , i mean the person tried to...bite her? Maybe...that slow person was a-no! That isnt possible its  way too cliche to have any hollywood   garbage like that become real  and we all end up dying, no okay! But....what if....it was real?

I continue to lay down on my bed, just staring up at the ceiling and eventually falling asleep.

~~hours later~~

(Sam's POV)

I awoke with a shaken startle and quickly sat up, "What? Whats going on?!" I open my eyes slowly and soon in front of me i see six girls circling around my bed. "Oh, its you guys Im guessing Maggy told you?" "Duh! Of course she did; we all couldn't just forget about it, what else is there to do on Spring break anyways?" A girl with light, dark brown hair said, she was wearing her purple pajamas and was holding a bag full of fresh clean clothing, Her name was Madi.

"Well, what are we waiting for? should we begin our sleepover?" another girl said, her name was Clemintine but most people called her Clem. She was also wearing purple pajamas and held a bag with a towel inside. "Sure, let's first start with a profile game." I replied back and all seven girls gather in a circle with a pencil and paper in their hand.

"Who would like to go first?" I asked generously. "Me!" A girl with long black hair said who was sitting just left of me. "Okay go on ahead" i said eagerly. "Well as you know, my name is Winter, i love the colour Blue and i hate scary dramas.

"We all looked at her with a smile and continued on with the next person. "Hey, my name is Clemintine but most people call me Clem, i dont really care for anything at all so if your my friend, there must be some kind of thing that sticks out to me so your dam lucky!" Everyone starts to laugh and even Clem gives a small smile.

"Hi! My name is Maggy" another girl said, "I love researching things and always try to find interesting stuff to share with people. Another went after Maggy, "Suuup!!! Im Madi, im pretty chill and really funny!" I started to laugh as i knew it was very true.

"Konnichiwa! Im Alex" my otaku friend said, "I love watching anime and my favorite kind of music is K-Pop and Vocoloid!" Everyone then bursted out with a huge conversation about their favorite animes, K-Pop people and Voco's.

"Okay everyone, lets get back i think its Jane's turn to go" I said as the conversation died down to silence. "Okay, well my name is Jane as Sam said, and i love Harry Potter and scary movies!" Everyone started to make scary ghost sounds as if we were in a scary movie.

After Jane, we get near the end of our profile game and we reach the last person to go, me. I speak with a small grin "Well, my name is Sam as you all should know." Everyone chuckled, "I am part of probably one of the best groups in highschool and last but not least im known to wear light colours but really, i love black."

Everyone just stared at me as if the last thing i said was completley unture, "What? Its true! i just dislike all the pinks and blues, no offence but black is much better." I responded and we all laughed with smiles in our faces, i looked around to see Clem even giving a small chuckle. I thought that nothing at all would make a good two weeks be ruined.

...but...thats all changed now...

Hey fabulous person! I hope you like the story so far.  :) at first it may be a bit slow but thats only to build up your suspense so i do encourage you to keep reading! (Chapter 2 is in the making!) If there are any grammatical errors please dont mind them i did re-read several times to be sure there weren't xD anyways hope you enjoyed and will be looking forward for chapter 2!!
