Ghosted. That's what I feel right now. It's as if I don't exist half of the time. But it's ok because I don't mind. I've gotten used to being in the shadows of everyone else.

I try again to get the bartender's attention as I frantically wave my pale hand in the air. He is still flirting with the shady bimbos in the corner.

Isn't he supposed to be working?

Oh well, it doesn't matter. I sipped my drink and scanned the room with dark eyes. It smells like crack and peaches. Lovely combination. I get up and stretch timidly, before walking out of the lousy bar. It's nighttime right now.

The stars are dusted across the gorgeous Endorian sky like holes in a black container. I've never seen the sky this clear before. It's so clear I could see the five moons in their full clarity.

Suddenly, I hear yelling. Gunshots, screaming, and loud thumps.

oh no

They're here now. And I can't escape, there are no other shops for miles on end in this deserted area. This means I have to fight.

-flashback-

"It looks like I have you cornered now, Princesa. There's nowhere for you to go now. No one wants you," he says. He stalks closer than before.

"Are you going to use your gifts on me Athys? What are you going to do next?" he taunts. At this point, he's too close.

I don't like it.

My fists curl into tiny balls and I press them against my side.

"Leave me alone. I don't want to hurt you" I whisper. He scoffs and knees me in the stomach. I lean against the wall of the house, using it as a support.

He's left me no choice. I have to use it.

I close my eyes and concentrate. Strands of my dirty black hair begin to lift up and out of my face. I open my eyes and look up at him. His eyes are wide in a shock and he stops moving- he's paralyzed. Slowly lifting one small hand, I force him flying backward and into the nearest wall.

𝘐𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘪𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺?

𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘱𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘢 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵.

𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰.

-end of flashback-

I know. But I won't. Not again.

The sounds are getting louder now, and I can faintly see someone. It's a he, and he is pinning the lazy bartender against the wall.

I need to do something.

I lift my hand up and towards the bar. A red light glows from the base of the building and travels up like lightning to the top. A large cracking noise is heard, and then the foundation collapses, leaving the walls crumbled in chunks.

The chunks of rock start to swirl up, forming some kind of red tornado of death.

With a wave of my hand, the debris drops to the side. I immediately run up to the two men in the once-was bar.

All they do is look at me until the bartender decides to speak up,

"Hey! Lady, why'd you destroy my building?" I shrug and look up at the other man. Yes, I said look up. I normally have to look down at people, because of my 5'8 demeanor, but this man seems to be roughly 6'2.

The tall man has dark eyes and dark hair. I can't see much else because it's dark. He drops the bartender's shirt and looks down at me.

"I need you to come with me. Now," he states. I shake my head and he grabs my wrist and we leave the destroyed bar.

What the hell just happened?
