Dean's POV

When the bell ended our second period, we walked to the quad for our free third. We sat at a bench to talk.

Well, Cas was doing his home work we got from history, but I tired to make conversation as much as I can.

Eventually, I bugged him enough to stop doing his homework and talk to me.

Cas would tell me some of interests and such. He'd ask me mine and return, but most of the time I kept making smart-alec and flirty jokes.

I see my flirting work, cause he'd turn away slightly, look down and turn red. Then mumble something.

Then he looked at my schedule again.

"Why do you have three free period?" He asked, looking up at me with his blue eyes.

"I did pretty well at my last school and I'm on the football team here." I said, shrugging like no big deal.

"What school did you go to before here?" He tilted his head slightly, looking up with question expression.

"I went to Lawrence High School, the rival school." I said and he widened his eyes.

"Why come to Lawrence Free State?"

I looked down for a good second, bring on a smile again when I looked at up him. "That's a story for another time." He gave a nod for an understood thing.

"May I see your schedule, again, please?" Castiel asked, reaching a hand out.

I nodded and gave him the white sheet of course.

Cas looked down at the piece of paper again and mumbled, I think was, 'You leave earlier than I do. .'

I smirked and ruffled his already messy hair.

"Hey!" He said grabbing my arm and pushing it away.

"Adorable," I sighed in 'awe.'

Our time was passing quickly, I had to leave to my next class, wishing it were with Castiel again.

He waved his 'good-bye' and I did the same.

Castiel's POV

I walked to my math class and saw a group of jocks sitting in the back row. 'Great.'

I could sit in the front far from them, but i hate being in the front. It means I get more attention in the class. I in the middle row, closest to the window.

The jocks pretty much hated me. I can understand why, besides Charlie and Jo. Who would want to be friends with a gay kid?

Dean flirts, but I'm sure its the friendly fake flirting. Jo and Charlie do it to me and each other all the time.

I'm sure, as soon as Dean finds out, he'll leave me, too. I shouldn't really care if he did, I just met him today.

Maybe it's just one less person to deal with.

I'm gonna keep it closed away from Dean as much as I can.

Sighing at the thought, I opened a note book and began to doodle around in it.

'I just want this class to end.' I thought.

~~

Besides math being so slow, my day was going quickly.

I had Science with Charlie and Dean, so I sat between the two.

They kept saying jokes, causing me to laugh most of the time. That class went by quickly.

Then I remember as soon as the bell rang to end that class. Dean has two free periods, right now. Meaning he can leave and go home.

I stopped in the middle of the hall way and just looked down.

Dean walked up to me and put a hand on my back.

"Why are you stopping? Someone is gonna steal our bench if we don't hurry."

I looked up quickly to see him smiling at me. 'Our bench? Wait. He's staying?'

"You're staying?" I asked.

"Yeah, of course. Why would i go?" He asked if that was a stupid question.

"Because you don't have to be here if you have free period as your last." I explained.

"Castiel," he said gently, "I'm staying." He gave a warming smile and I smiled back with a slight blush.

We walked to our bench and sat on it. Our legs on each side of it and faced each other.

Dean and I made eye contact, but for while we didn't break eye contact.

We broke when he gave his charming smirk and winked.

I turned a bit, looking down and blushed slightly.

Our free period together went by quickly as well and the bell for our last period was here.

I got up and was ready to tell him, 'See you tomorrow.' But he surprised me when he asked,

"Where's your last period? I'll walk ya."

I smiled and we walked side by side to my last class. When he said, "I'll see you later, Cas." Squeezing my shoulder gently. I watched him walk away and a blush crept on my face again.

"I'll see you later, too, Dean."
