Before 04:20

I didn't even want to take it. One puff was what he said. It doesn't hurt. Don't judge by what you see on tv. He passed me the blunt. Who am I to say no?.

   Getting to Ace, the party was way filled up than I expected. Everybody from different levels, different race of life, even the wannabes. I knew some familiar faces from my department, but ignored them.

Not like I even talk to them or they would know it's me with all this makeup.

   Personally, I would rate the planning 2, because the crowd was just too much. So small a venue, So much the hype. Not like I hadn't invited a few other people.

   Elizabeth and Julie kept on ranting about some girls that wore too much makeup or something like that, but I couldn't make much sense from what they were saying so I decided to keep off the conversation and continue my work of noticing everybody. The perfect moment I looked at the gate was when I watched Felix walk inside the gate.

Stupid annoying devil.

   Obviously, Felix wasn't alone as he walked in with himself and four other friends, three of which I knew and, one that looked familiar.

"Creep, stop staring joor",Elizabeth hit me as she talked. "They said we should come downstairs and take shots oh", and without waiting for my reply she dragged myself and Julie downstairs.

  After taking a full red cup, so much for shot, of what they called what it was that I had no idea of, I walked back upstairs with my friends only to see Felix and his friends standing at my spot.

  That child just likes trouble, even unconsciously.

   "Felix, shey you know I was standing there before ehn",I said eyeing him. Not like my eyes have anything on him or he cared seff.

"You don't know standard", he replied grinning. "Better come and meet my friends", he continued. Obviously, I knew he knew that I knew Toyosi, the proud ass of our hostel , Bello, the annoying one who was Toyosi's roommate and ,Richard, the one I never cared about, but I did talk to everyone of them though, being that they were all my hostel mates.

  "If I slap you ehn", I replied, this time shaking all the friends apart from the last guy who looked carried away with his phone. Giving him one last glance, one part of my mind wanted to torment him, but I obeyed the other part that told me to ignore him and walk to my friends.

The party was fun and annoying as expected, cause even Elizabeth and Julie had left me to dance with people who seemed interested with the whole thing. I kept on thinking of all the possible ways I could go and drag Elizabeth from the annoying Bello when I felt someone tap my shoulders. Typical me would look back and give the person a death glare, but for some weird reasons, I just looked back.
    It was the fine friend of Felix, and truth be told I was shocked. Too shocked to say anything.
   "Cat's got your tongue?", he smiled. "How are you doing?".
I was even too shocked to say anything, so I followed default and replied the regular, "fine,thanks".
      "Just do me the honors and dance with me",  I'm sure he was shocked at his own words that he had to laugh.
     "I hope you choke on your laughter", I replied and rolled my eyes at him. Only God knew why he laughed oh.
      "I just didn't know when that came out when what I actually wanted to do was..."
     "Ask this damsel what her name was",we both said at the same time. "I've watched the movie", I continued "Unconditional Laws by Zac Efron and that fair girl. I can imagine how long you've waited to use this pickup line".
   The shock on his face was enough to be used as a sticker, an emoji in fact. I brought out my phone to take a picture of him when he finally found words to say.
  "Mad oh, who knew girls like you watch Romcoms?",he said and continued " Anyway I'm Andre, and you're?"
   " Hannah oh , Hannah Montana"
  "You know that was actually boring ba?", he asked with a wicked smile on his face. I just rolled my eyes and continued looking downstairs.
     Who tells a girl she's boring on the first day.

   Don't ask me why or how, but I was presently dancing with Andre at my back. Rocking as you all would call it, and no doubt it was fun. Even Elizabeth had to come meet me when she saw me dancing with a guy.

  A whole Hannah dancing with some random dude.

"You do dance well for someone as rude as you", he said as he held my waist. Collateral Damage by Burna Boy was playing.
   "W-what do you mean by that oh", I smirked as I successfully eyed one of the numerous guys who had wanted to dance with me.
     Fine..., I'll tell you how we started dancing so you'll stop looking at me like that. After telling me I was boring, I just kept on staring at my friends and then again, he tapped me to continue having a conversation with me, and today was quite weird because I kept on answering him without even doing something, anything, even as little as rolling my eyes, or staring at him in an impolite manner. We talked and talked about anything and everything, even down to my sisters dog at home. Guess your cliché way from here now to how we started dancing.

  "I'm thirsty oh", I said panting.
"And I'm not", he replied with a grin on his lips.
    "You're worse than Felix", I replied batting my eyes at him.
  "What's the deal with Felix?. You know he has a girlfriend abi ?"
      "Girlfriends you mean. Plus ewwwwww, he annoys the hell out of me", I replied. This time I pretended to puke, but made sure I had a very serious look on my face.
"That's what they all say before going down with him",he stared at me and then removed his hands from and waist and to my shoulders before he continued. 
"Let's go get you water" . Without a fight, I obliged and followed him back upstairs.
