Prudence had learned a lot about Lesser Mountain Demons when they went through the Cthulhu Pit to Tanners-Folly, but she hadn't gotten far on the subject of Greater Mountain Demons. But, oh boy, they were interesting now that she had gotten into the chapter. Truly amazing how fast they could rip a humanoid in half, oh wait! Pictures!
Prudence leans into her evil-looking book, clearly interested, as Dob quietly tunes his lute, humming a tune.
Dob had always loved his lute, though at first it wasn't his, it was some fat, rich man's toy he forgot about in a day. Dob looked down at the old but pristinely kept wood and stroked the strings gently. A perfect sound. He knew he would never forget about his lute.
A soft melody floated through the space as Dob's green fingers plucked at the strings serenely, looking as if he wasn't even thinking of doing so. It was perfect background music for Merilwen's meditation.
Merilwen had always been a lover of nature. She loved the green land they walked on. Geth was always so filled with lush forests, she never saw the need for towns or cities. Why live in stone houses when the trees provided what you need? Her meditation was well accompanied by the gentle song. She hummed along, searching for a answering hum from nature, she found a faint one, but it was muffled by whatever void they were in.
As Merilwen hummed along, Corazón DeBallena, (sexy)human (sexy) pirate (sexy) rogue (sexy), lay like he was leaning back on a chair with his feet up, though he was just floating through space. In his hands was a story he had written under his pen name, Penn Nayme. It was about the daring adventure of Corazón and crew as they fought their way through an evil cult bent on silence!
He was just at the part where he had fought the deadly owlbear, all on his own while the others were incapacitated, when Egbert had finally stopped screaming like he had been for the last hour or so.
Egbert, to say the least, was terrified. But screaming for an hour is exhausting, and it seemed like the rest of his group was calm, so it was just him, being poor Egbert the Unwise, the Clueless, the Careless. Everything back at the stables, with the Order, even when he was found to be a Dragonborn. He was always the one who was picked on. Here, at least, it was kinder, more friendly teasing than bullying, and he preferred that. Especially after the Order... he really wished he hadn't-
*BONK!*
Suddenly, the entire party had landed.
Prudence landed perfectly on the smooth ground, not even looking up from her book. Dob lands gracefully on one foot while still playing a melody, before opening his eyes, putting both feet down, and slinging his lute onto his back. Merilwen slowly floats down, still in a meditative trance, before letting herself fall to the ground just above it.
Corázon lands with a small smack to the back of his head from the ground, he gets up grumbling slightly and rubbing the back of his head.
"Hey! What's the big ide-!"
He is interrupted by Egbert, who falls right on top of him.
"I'm okay!" Egbert yells.
Corázon then pushes him over and he smacks his snout on the ground.
"Less okay..." Egbert continues.
Corázon then gets up and dust himself off. Dob comes over and helps Egbert up.
Hehehe... you guys are hilarious! You all have such clashing, but in perfect harmony with each other personalities!
"Okay, listen here, missy," Corázon says, "You brought us here and now what!? We sit here and starve, as you play a sick and twisted game with us?! Because that's not going to work! So go——— yourself..."
