Chapter 2: The Problem Continues

John's POV

I, Emily, and Jason were sad since our best friend, Leah was gone. but, we decided to stay at my house to keep our minds off of it. Then, we were going to the park to take a walk. we heard a scream through the forest that Leah saw the ghost that made her move away from yesterday. So we did not go in there because we might die. we continued the walk but the scream got louder and louder as we continued walking. We turned around and saw a girl facing backward. She did not turn around but she was staring at something. Emily asked "Hey little girl, where are your parents?" but she did not respond she ran away. I said, " something is not right about that girl." Emily and Jason agreed. then we came back to my house to have dinner. then after dinner, we went into my room to play video games. after that, we went to bed but I heard a scream from my window at 3:00 AM I looked out my window and saw the same girl from the park and she was facing the same way. I asked "Hey little girl, what are you doing out there?" she didn't respond but she ran away screaming. I shut my window and went back to sleep. the next day, I told Emily and Jason what happened last night. they told me it happened to them too. we were scared of that girl. but then we saw her through the glass window. we were shocked and scared. Then, she turned around, and her eyes were tearing black ooze from the darkness of her blank eyes. she was one of the ghosts that has been haunting Leah for weeks and made her move. we ran away from that ghost but some strange being was behind her. it looked kinda like Leah. but we kept on running. then, we stopped because she asked "Why are you running?" We said "You are the girl who has been haunting Leah for weeks and made her move." the girl responded with a strange tone " yes, I am the ghost who has been haunting Leah but I was not haunting her." "Then, Why are you and your friend here?" we asked. "Because we are finding something that we lost years ago." Me, Emily, And Jason looked shocked when she said that. "Then, why were you and your friend chasing Leah?" She responded again "because we thought she might have what we were looking for." We asked her "What are you looking for anyways?" she explained "It was an old treasure called "The Heart of The Mountains" and it was made by a special gemstone from the winter caves, The gemstone was called "Snowite" And the gem contained special magic that anybody could use but it disappeared." Jason asked her "what happened?" "Someone stole it 10 years ago and it was never found. We need your help in helping us find it" I looked confused and said "What do you mean "We"?" And the girl looked at me with a smile and said "I mean all three of you!" And
