Age 12

As soon as we walked into the dance I knew it was them instantly. They were standing together and the boy was playing with these cards.

"There they are" Grover said pointing to the pair. They had dark brown hair much like my own and chocolate brown eyes. They clearly look like they could be my siblings.

"Bianca and Nico do Angelo" Grover said. "Do they ...I mean, have you told them?" Annabeth asked.

Grover shook his head. "You know how it is. That could put them in more danger. Once they realize who they are their scent becomes stronger."

"That's true. That's why Luke didn't tell me that I was a half blood right there because he didn't want more monsters attacking me." I said.

"So let's grab them and get out of here," Percy said. Percy then tried to advance towards them but Thalia stopped him and pointed to a doorway were Dr. Thorn I think his name was was now standing near the di Angelos. He then sent a freaky nod towards us.

"Don't look at the kids," Thalia ordered. "We have to wait for a chance to get them. We need to pretend we're not interested in them. Throw him off the scent."

"How?"

"We're four powerful half-bloods. Our presence should confuse him. Mingle. Act natural. Do some dancing. But keep an eye on those kids."

"Dancing?" Annabeth asked.

Thalia nodded. She cocked her ear to the music and made a face. "Ugh. Who chose the Jesse McCartney?"

Grover looked hurt. "I did"

"Oh my gods, Grover. That is so lame. Can't you play, like, Green Day or something?"

"Green who?"

"Never mind. Let's dance."

"But I can't dance."

"You can if I'm leading," Thalia said. "Come on, goat boy."

Grover yelped as Thalia grabbed his hand and led him onto the dance floor.

Annabeth smiled.

"What?" Percy asked.

"Nothing it's just cool to have Thalia back."

"Well...now I feel like a third wheel I'm going to try the punch that "we" made sooooo yeah I'll be there." I said feeling awkward.

I was walking over to the food table when I heard Thalia bicker to Percy and Annabeth that they needed to dance.

I glanced back to the bleachers to check on Bianca and Nico when I saw that they were gone. I soon saw Annabeth looking panicked to and then Annabeth ran off probably looking for Grover and Thalia and me I guess. So what did I do?

I ran after Annabeth.

I found her with Thalia and Grover but then I realized that Percy wasn't with her.

"Guys were is Percy?"

We decided to run towards the door we're Dr Thorn first came through and saw a door headed outside. Looking through the window I could see Percy trying to distract the vice principal. And behind Percy was Bianca and Nico.

"Ok I'll go first with my cap on and you three will follow after me once I engage. Got it?" Annabeth asked.

"Got it." We said at the same time.

Annabeth slowly opened the door with her cap on and then a view seconds later an invisible force hit Percy at that point we ran outside and I had skotádi drawn from my black bracelet.

Then me and Thalia ran into battle like there was no tomorrow.

That was when everything seemed like a blur. All I know I was fighting like crazy and slashed my sword a lot when I was drawn out of my daze when I heard a soft voice say

"Who are you people?" I turned around to see a shocked Bianca di Angelo. "And what is that?"

"A manticore?" Nico gasped. "He's got three thousand attack power and plus five to saving throws!"

I had no clue what he was talking about but I didn't have time to worry about it. The manticore clawed Grovers magic weeds to shreds then turned towards Percy and Annabeth and the di Angelos with a snarl.

"Get down!" Annabeth pushes the siblings flat into the snow. Percy then finally decided to get his shield out Then all of a sudden thorns came hurtling down onto Percy's shield from Tyson. Then Grover got thrown and fell next to Percy

"Yield!" The monster roared.

"Never!" Thalia and I yelled. Then it went into that blur of fighting the monster when a sudden light blinded me and I fell to the ground. Then I see Thalia soon fall beside me.

"No!" I heard Percy yell as he was running to our aid.

Dr Thorn laughed. "Now do you see how hopeless it is? Yield little heroes."

We were trapped in between a monster and a fully armed helicopter. We had no chance.

Then we all heard a clear, piercing sound: the call of a hunting horn blowing in the woods.

A/n 

So that was fun to write. So I will not update for like a week because of school but on the weekends I will try to update alot.
