imagine meeting ruel at a party ◦◦◦ "come on y/n. please come with me." y/f/n begged me. "i hate any social interaction and you know that." i watched her put on her makeup. "please. i'll hook you up with a cute guy." she said excited.
"no." i covered myself with a blanket laying down. "please . for me y/n? look. we can only go for 30 minutes. that's it." i groaned. "i'll buy you ice cream after?" she bribed me. i quickly got up. "deal."
she chuckled patting the chair she was sitting in. "im going give you a makeover. you're gonna look stunning." i rolled my eyes as she started on my makeup.
when she was finished she let me look and i looked so different. i had a light smokey eye look and my hair was in lose curls. my jaw dropped a little. "wow." i spoke she left the bathroom for a second before she came back with a short skin tight red dress.
"there's no way i'm wearing that." i shook my head. "y/n the look won't be complete if you don't wear this." "y/b/f ! seriously." she smiled holding up the dress. "ughhh fine."
i got dressed looking at myself. i didn't look like myself. i didn't like it. i usually dressed in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. this. this was just weird.
"come on girl! you're party ready." i rolled my eyes as we walked out of my apartment.
we drove to the address where the party was being held. you could hear the music from down the block and there were people standing outside talking or some with there tongue down each other throats.
she parked on the curb and we walked up the steps to the big mansion house. right when we walked in, it reeked of alcohol and sweat. i followed y/b/f around as she said hi to some of her friends.
we stopped at one of her friend groups as she said hi to all of them. "y/n i want you to meet kyle." i looked up at him, as i saw him smirking down at me. "i think yall will get along very well." she smiled. "well bye!" she scurried away with her other friends. "y/b/f!!" i furrowed my eyebrows at kyle and his pervy look at me.
"so you wanna go upstairs?" what the fuck. "hell no! get lost asshole." i rushed past him trying to find a way out of this hell hole. i walked down a hallway finding a small little balcony.
i just wanted to get some fresh air. i slide open the window and stepped outside, going to the deck. i let out a deep breath, leaning over and putting my head in my hands. "you okay?" i heard a voice that startled me. "oh i'm sorry i didn't know you were here i'll leav-" he cut me off. "no please stay. i'm getting lonely out here.
he patted the open spot next to him. i gave in and sat next to him. i couldn't really see his face but the small light from the hallway that reflected off his face, made him look pretty cute.
"what's wrong." i was silent for a second. "you can tell me. i'm a good listener." i looked into his eyes. i turned back to look at the city sky line since this house was on a hill. "my friend wanted me to come to this stupid party and she hooked me up with this jerk that only wanted me for sex." he scooted closer to me.
"i'm sorry. no girl like your deserves to be treated like that." i shivered a bit. "thanks i guess." i looked down. i guess he noticed i was a bit cold so he took of his jacket laying it over my shoulders. "oh thank you." i said timid.
i don't know what came over me but i laid my head on his shoulder scooting close to him. "i'm ruel." he slung his arm around my shoulder. "y/n."
it was silent for a few minutes as we listened to the city chaos. i felt safe in his arms. i felt like he would protect me no matter what. "i know we barley know each other but i'd really like to take you on a date." i looked up at him and his green eyes stared back at my y/e/c eyes.
"i'd love that." i smiled and cuddled more into his chest. this was the start of something amazing.
