Chapter 5 (the day after)

The next morning

when I woke up I saw Ben laying beside me. I shot up when I realized we weren't in his room nor my room. I got up and magiced myself into some clothes for the day:

I turned around to see that Ben was still sleeping. I decided to sit by the pool. I took my shoes off and put my feet into the water. I sat there for a few minutes. I looked back at Ben who was still sleeping. At this point I was starting to get worried. "He doesn't normally sleep in this long" I thought to myself. I walked over to him. I shook him but he didn't wake up. I then crawled on top of him. I kissed him. When I pulled away I saw his eyes open. "Good morning" he said in his morning voice. "Morning" I said. "I think we need to get back to my castle" he said. We headed downstairs and out through the door. We walked all the way to bens castle. When we got there nobody was there. "Hello" we yelled into the empty castle. There was no answer. We decided to go upstairs. We headed upstairs and into bens room. When we reached his room I felt sick to my stomach. "Umm excuse me" I said rushing towards the bathroom. The next thing I knew I was throwing up in the toilet. When I was done I cleaned myself up. As I came out of the bathroom I saw Ben looking at me with a worried look on his face. "Mal you have to tell me what's going on" he said as he walked over to me. "It's nothing I'm fine" I said as I smiled and kissed him. I looked at my phone and noticed that I had 18 missed calls from Evie. "Shoot, she's gonna kill me" I said. "What? What is it?" He asked concerned. "I gotta go I'll see you later" I said as I grabbed my shoes. Before I reached the door I gave Ben a kiss. "Bye, love you" he said. "Love you too" I said as I headed out the door. When I reached my house I saw everyone in the dining room. "What's going on?" I asked as I stepped into the dining room. "Mal" everyone said in relief. "Have you seen Ben?" Bell asked. "Yeah, he's at the castle" I said confused. Bell and beast let out a sigh of relief. "What's going on?" I asked again. "We all thought you had gone missing" Carlos said. A few minutes later everyone had left. I was sitting in my room talking to Evie. "So how was last night" she asked. "What are you talking about" I replied. "Well I saw you guys on the rooftop" she said with a smirk. "Oh you saw that?" I asked blushing. "Don't worry I didn't tell anyone, just give me all the details" she said as she sat on my bed. "Well..." I got cut off by my phone going off I checked it to see a text from Ben.
B: hey, do you want to come to my place to plan the wedding
M: sure I'll be there in a few minutes
B: ok see you then, love you.
M: love you too.
"Sorry E, I have to go plan with ben, but to make it up to you...I'll let you be the one to decorate it" I said. I saw her frown turn into a smile. "See you later" I said as I got up and gave her a hug. I headed to ben's castle in a limo that he had sent for me. When I got there I was surrounded by the press. "Oh umm excuse me" I said politely trying to get through as they asked me loads of questions. I was starting to get stressed and dizzy. My vision was blurry. I then saw someone in the distance clearing the Hurd of reporters away from me. "Ben" I said trying to keep my balance. I then put my hands against his chest. " Mal, are you ok?" He asked. "Mmhm" I replied looking in the other direction. We then headed inside up to his room.

Ben's p.o.v
"Mal, you don't look well? Are you ok" she then looked at me and collapsed onto the floor. "Mal, mal, mal wake up" I said as I quickly bent down by her side. I shook her a little her a little but she still didn't wake up. "Mom, dad" I yelled. A few seconds later they rushed through the door. "Honey What is it?" Mom asked. I then showed them Mal on the floor. "Oh my god" she said. "Ben get her up in the bed and we'll call the doctor" dad said. I carefully picked her up and placed her on the bed.

Mal's p.o.v
I woke up to see Ben pacing back and forth as the door closed. I sat up. "What's wrong?" I asked in confusion. "Mal!" he said as he ran to my side. "What's going on" I said as I looked at him. "You passed out" before he could finish, the door suddenly bursts open to reveal a really worried Evie. "Mal!" She said as she ran over to me. "I heard what happened, are you ok?" She said pushing Ben out of the way. I chuckled a little. "I'm fine, I was just so stressed out that I must have passed out" I explained. "Well I'm glad your ok" Ben said as me and Evie looked over at him. "I'll leave you two alone" she said as she stood up and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. We looked at each other in silence.

Ben's p.o.v
Mal tried to sit up but yelped in pain. She began to cry as I rushed over to her. "Mal are you ok" I said. She didn't reply she just screamed in pain. I called the doctor. A few minutes later doctors came in followed by evie. They rushed over to Mal. They carried her out of the room. I ran after then along with Evie. We ran all the way to the hospital hearing Mal scream in pain.

Mal's p.o.v
Hours later I woke up in a hospital bed. I looked around the room until a doctor came in. "Lady Mal how do you feel" he asked. "I feel better" I replied. "That's good, what you have experienced today was completely natural, one of your babies is absorbing their powers, it's completely natural" he explained. "Thank god I thought I was dyeing...Wait did you say babies?" I asked. "Yes lady Mal your having twins" he said. I sat there with all my emotions and thoughts racing through my head. "I will inform king Ben" he said. "No!" I shouted. He stared at me. "You see, I haven't told him yet and I want to be the one to tell him, so please don't tell him" I begged. "Ok" he said. "Thank you" I replied. He then walked out of the room. Suddenly the doors burst open and revealed a worried Ben and Evie. They rushed over to me. "Mal are you ok" Ben said as he bent down to my level. "Yeah, I feel better" I said. The doctor came in again. "King Ben, make sure Mal gets some rest and if she experiences this pain again just make sure you give her this " the doctor said handed hen a needle. "Ok thank you" Ben said to the doctor. The doctor soon left the room. "Hey Mal is the you know what ok?" Evie whispered. "Yeah" I replied. "Ok then let's get you home" she said. "If you want you could stay with me tonight" Ben said. "You too Evie" he added. "Sure" I said. "Evie do you want to come" I added. "Sure" she said.
