AGONY OF LAGOS TRAFFIC

My phone kept on ringing in the board room,it was TOPE" our nanny, what must be wrong I thought to myself,i quietly took permission and walked out to pick the call and all I could hear was " hello madam ken dae shake o,e no dae breath well and e medicine done finish,e eye even dae enter inside oga Desmond no open shop" at that point I had a cold feet my only son was under an attack and my nanny is panicking so bad,i told her to calm down and I will be home shortly,i totally forgot I was in a meeting with my boss, went straight to my office picked my keys and rushed out calling my husband but he wasn't answering the phone.  I started my car and drove out of the office, immediately my phone started to ring thinking it was my husband I picked without checking and then i just picked my bosses call he scolded me like a kid and still gave me a week suspension but all that did not matter I just wanted to save my son, getting to the highway as usual Lagos traffic I kept on pressing my horn to the extent all the street boys, bus conductors and fellow workers started to insult me saying"aunty kilode ,you won fly us pass " all their said did not matter because I have been in one same spot for over thirty minutes and I couldn't take it any more so I looked for a space to pack and I started to walk home.  I walked for twenty minutes from the traffic then I got his inhaler and some other tablet from a nearby pharmacy and I got on a bike which arrived at my gate in a short time.  I stormed my compound with great energy and opened my door like a superhero but all my vibe died immediately I saw my son lifeless on the floor,i knelt down and held him close, shouted my lungs out but no escape.  The horn of the truck behind me revived me back from my thought, then I realized it's been two hours I have been in this traffic and it's my first day at work after my suspension and a week after I lost my son,my son I could have saved  but due to traffic I let my seven year old son die just like that..
