"So, Jungkook," Jimin said. "Did you do it?"

Jungkook gulped and, very slowly, nodded.

"What," said Jimin.

"What," said Hoseok.

"What," said Yoongi.

"What," said Seokjin.

"What," said Namjoon.

"I did it," Jungkook whispered. "I put a note inside his locker, asking him to meet me after school."

"No way," Jimin said, still in shock. "Three months. Three months of waiting. And he finally did it."

"Oh my god," Hoseok said, dabbing his eyes with a tissue. "Our little baby's growing up. Jin hyung, are you seeing this?"

"I'm seeing this, babe, I'm seeing this. Yoongi, honey?"

"I'm just trying to process all of this," Yoongi said, shaking his head.

"So wait, are you actually doing this?" Namjoon said. "after three months of pining, you're finally gonna confess."

"You're right, maybe this isn't such a good idea," Jungkook said, starting to panic.

"Hey, hey. Now way am I gonna let you back down after you finally decide to confess," Jimin said decidedly. "I'll make sure he's free today, alright? I've been friends with him since we were in diapers, he trusts me. We're practically soulmates."

"Hey!" Namjoon pouted.

"Namjoon, you are my boyfriend. Mi amour. The love of my life and my future husband. Kim Taehyung is my twin, my soulmate. I know what he's gonna say and what he's gonna do before he even moves."

"Alright," Namjoon said, brightening up.

"Yah, Seokjin hyung, where're the lamb skewers you promised us?" Yoongi called out.

"I said I'd make them after school if you all come to my house." Jin paused. "But I brought some for my baby Kookie because he deserves it."

No one argued as Jungkook happily accepted the box Jin handed over to him.
