"Kay, wake yo' ass up" i heard Kade yell in my ear. Damn bruh, you dont know how to sleep in?
"The hell is wrong with you its 7:00 in the morning?" I said dryly.
"Get yo yellow ass up and help me. I still got to get our stuff out the car, the shit aint gone move itself."
"First of all just cuz' im white dont mean shit. I'll cut yo' stupid punk self" I said playfully.
"yeah ight, come on thug." he said sarcastically.
As I was coming down stairs, i saw Trinity slumped on the couch. She looked so pretty, she had them dark brown curls, and she was brownskin. No wonder every nigga chased her she was so damn beautiful. Im pretty my damn self but im hard as fuck to deal with, while Trinity she dont mind following her man's footsteps. Im sorry but im my own boss.
" Why you aint do this last night Kade?" I said coming down the stairs.
"Because I was drivin' yall all over hell and back." He said sarcastically.
"We in Charlotte, you act like we took a trip to the ATL" I picked at him.

After I left the money and note under my Ma's doorstep, we headed to Charlotte. We had to get out of Durham as soon as possible. it was the only way. We drove pretty much all night, Trinity and Kade was talkin' my head off. They were so damn perfect for each other. He loved her more than anything. I remember the first time he told her he loved her in front of me. She looked him with them chocolate brown eyes like he had just told her she had just won the lottery. I wanted that shit so bad, I want somebody to love me like that but at the moment aint nobody stepped to the plate for me.
Sometimes I just sit back and look back on my life. Wondering where the fuck did I go wrong? Why does shit gotta be so damn complicated. I just wanted to grow up and get out Durham. I wanted to have a family. Dont get me wrong Kade and Trinity are family, its just I want something thats never gone leave me. I dont know its just a thought.
"KAY!!! HELP ME PLEASE!! PLEASE!!" Someone kept screaming. The voice sounded so familiar.
"Kay please, im dying." the voice said again and then I realized who it was. It was Jaylen.
"Im coming Jay, hold on for me please." I screamed out to her. I had to find her, I cant let her go.
"Dont even think about it Kenzie" I heard a voice say, How the hell did this mf know my name? Nobody knows my real name except my mama.
"Jay, Im coming for you cuz'. Hold on for me." I screamed, I was panicking. I couldnt find her anywhere.
"She's gone, Kenzie." I finaly recognized who it was, it was King's baby sister Charlie.
"What do you want?!" I screamed and she gave me this demonic ass smile.
" To kill you like you killed my brother." She said and then she lunged at me.
"Kay, wake up. Babygirl you having a bad dream." Trinity said, she had this worried look on her face. I guess I scared her.
"Im fine, it was just a dumb dream." I shook her off.
"Well that dumb dream made you scream, I thought Freddy Krouger got yo lil ass." she said laughing.
"Shut up." I said as I hit her with the pillow.
"Come on, I got somebody I want you to meet." She said smiling .
"Who?" I said getting suspicious.
"You'll see" She said, she had on that damn kool-aid smile.
Damn, why cant I get some peace in my own crib. I rolled out of bed and put on my hoodie and beanie. When I was coming down the stairs, some lightskin boy with curly hair was chillin' on my couch. Just chillin' like he'd been living here.
"Yo' Trinity who is this?" I called but ole'boy answered for her.
"James, whats yours?" he said.
"So, how u know my girl Tri?"
"Thats my cousin, she trying to help me out cuz' im in some deep shit." he said, looking at his Jordans.
"You aint in no shit, thats gone get us killed is you?" I said.
"Nah, nothing like that." He said.
"Well ight, but I got my eye on you play boy." I warned him, I gotta let him know im alpha dog.
He laughed "Yeah I figured you would."
"Tri, why the hell is your cousin coming to stay with us? And most importantly how come nobody told me?" I asked.
"I aint want to tell you, cuz' you wouldve said no." Trinity said with a smile on her face.
" What you smiling for?" I asked her.
" He cute aint he?" She started laughing.
" Shut up." I said blushing a little bit.
"He like white girls. He might just wife ya shawty." She said laughing loud as hell.

I had alot of shit on my plate, first off I had to get some shit moving because sitting on my ass wasnt going to pay the bills. First off I had to meet somebody named Key, he supposed to be a friend of Kade's, Kade said that he could hook us up with a pound. I wont really sure what to expect so I came strapped, I mean shit how am I supposed to know ole boy wont try nothing? Exactly, I was supposed to be meeting him by the old walmart. It wont really a walmart anymore, it had been tore down and now it was just an empty parking lot. As I was waiting on Key to show up, I rolled down the window of the challenger. I dont know but something about this car just make me feel like im the shit. I dont know I guess its because I didnt have anything growing up. I mean I went from wearing shit from the Good-Will to wearing Jordans and True Religion.
Damn, ive been here an hour. Im starting to feel like Key bailed on me. As I turned the keys to cut on the engine. A white SUV pulled up, a lightskin boy got out the car. He was really tall and he had on some Retro 3s, black jeans and a OBEY hoodie.
"Was good Ma?" Key said.
"Wassup, I heard you could help me and my fam out" I said to him.
"Yeah I can, but you got to help me out in return." Key said smiling.
"What you got in mind?" I said looking at him sideways.
"I need a chick to ride along with me when I do drops. I need a girl thats going to help me move this shit."
"Alright, I can help you with that but can I ask you how come u dont bring a guy along?" I asked him
"You'll figure it out sooner or later." He answered.
"Alright, can u meet me friday?" I asked, shit what does he mean ill find out sooner or later.
"Yeah, I gotchu shawty."
"Alright see ya." I yelled as I walked to the car.
