Chapter 1:Never Trust a Person Who is Named After a State
(Aza's POV)
BEEP. BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.
*15 minutes later.*
"AZA, WAKE THE FU-" Before my brother could finish I threw a pillow at his face. He has black hair like me but green eyes like my dad. My beloved brother Wade is physically 14 but has stopped growing mentally after he turned 5.
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" My brother asks, while holding his nose.
"For waking me up. Why did you wake me up?"
"Well, it could be because today is my FIRST DAY in ERHS." he said jumping on my bed. Yes, my own brother was excited to be in hell called ERHS or Eleanor Roosevelt High School. He thinks he is going to have the time of his life. I am not going to warn him about how wrong he is about school since he woke me up.
"Get your ass out of your bed." He says still jumping. I get out of my bed, and kick him in his jewels. Then I go take a shower.
I come down and see my brother on the dining table and my dad cooking pancakes. I go in the kitchen, take my pancakes and a jar of nutella and sit in front of my brother.
"Seriously, you are going to wear this to the first day of school." He says while making the are-you-sure-about-this face. I glare at my brother while stuffing my mouth with pancakes. I was wearing a white top and red sweatpants with black Nike shoes.
"What is it to you." I say still stuffing my mouth.
"Kids it is the first day of school, don't fight." My dad says smiling. He takes a seat besides me.
"Why are you smiling?" me and my brother say in unison. We look at each other and smile. Yes, this is how we make up. We have never apologized to each other, we just smile at each other and forgive forget.
"Who is going to drop you guys to school?" my dad asks ignoring our question.
"Vivian." I say while adding more nutella to my pancake. Vivian is my one and only friend. I know it sounds sad, but it is better to have loyal friends than a dozen of back-stabbing, fake friends. Trust me, I am saying this from experience. I was friend with two more boys back in my freshman year, but as soon as they found out that I am one of the not-so-popular kids, they just left and started hanging out the popular ones. I felt really bad at first, but then I realized that this just helped me find out who is my real friend and who is not.
Soon, Vivian arrived with his red BMW 3-series. Vivian was wearing a v-neck, jeans, and Adidas shoes. I hoped in the shotgun seat and Wade in the back.
"How is life, A? Any summer flings?" Vivian asks wiggling his eyebrows.
"Life was going great and no I didn't have any flings."
"Well, I did. It was a boy called Austin-"
"Austin, you slept with a guy called Austin. You know you should never trust a person who is named after a state." I say.
Yes, my best friend is gay, he told me four years ago. Does me or my family have a problem with it.? No. Does his family have problem with it? Yup. He was kicked out of his house for a month, until my dad talked to his parents about the situation. Because of this, whenever Vivian is in a situation, he would first come to us then his family. I don't know if I should be proud or worried.

SOOOOOOO, how was the first chapter??
I really wanted to add a character like Vivian in the story. Many people in the world still thing that being homosexual is terrible thing. To those people I present my one and only Vivian. Que the applause. He is going to play an important role in the story and that is why I added a picture of the Vivian I imagine in Author's Note.
I am thinking of doing a POV of Xavi after the next few chapter. What do you guys think?
