Kirishima's POV
Phew, I think I dodged that problem pretty quickly. Bakugou wanted to work on the project after school, but I have some... stuff... to deal with. It's just some back alley gang that's been causing trouble. Pro heroes don't really deal with gangs and smaller criminals who don't use their quirks. They mostly fight villains who mainly use their quirks. And since they won't do anything about it, I've decided it's my job now.
Bakugou scowls at me for a moment, eyeing me suspiciously. "Fine, but you better not try to ditch and put all the work on me." he says, walking away. I nod my head, also heading back to the dorms.
Once I finally arrive, I see Bakugou on his laptop, sitting on the bed. He has headphones on, probably to ignore me. I brush him off, leaving my school bag by my bed and grabbing the bag with my costume in it. I then walk right back out the door, closing it behind me. Bakugou didn't look at me, meaning I should be good for now. What if I pay him a visit later...?
~
I reach the city, hopping from the top of each building. I glance down at each alleyway, looking for this gang. The gang leader stands out like a sore thumb, because he has his hair is blue and in that stereotypical bosozoku haircut. It looks really stupid, so I'm sure I can't miss it.As I'm thinking, I notice some faint blue out of the corner of my eye. Speak of the devil. I quietly leap down into the alley, careful not to be noticed by the leader or any of his thugs. I hide behind some boxes and listen into their conversation.
"So boss, did you get it? Did you actually get one??" a thug asks, pressing the leader. THe blue haired man smacks the thug on the back of the head. "Shut UP, would you?! Of course I did, you moron." He lifts a small syringe to show off. The thugs look at the substance with awe, except for one. "Uh, boss? What exactly is that again?" he asks, giving the leader a confused look. The leader sighs. "This, my friend, is a quirk amplifier. It upgrades your quirk to become more powerful." he says, now holding the syringe in front of the thugs face. "It's a seriously powerful drug. Had to kill the guy selling it to get it, since it was so expensive." He laughs a little. Guess that's my que.
"Well well, look at this!" I step out from my hiding spot, amazed that none of them noticed my presence before. The gang turn to look at me, the thugs scared shitless. THe leader scoffs. "SO you're that "justice guy" or whatever, right?" he asks, pointing to me. I nod. "Yup, that's me!" He shakes his head, laughing a little under his breath. He reaches into his pocket. Either he getting the syringe or a weapon. Let's hope for a weapon, since I don't know what his quirk is yet. I forgot to research that about him. He quickly pulls out a pistol and shots it at me. Luckily, I harden my body, and the bullet bounces off of my skin. The leader now looks scared. "Not so scary without that gun, huh?" I ask, walking closer. He continues shooting at me, all of the bullets being sent flying in other directions after contact with my skin. I stand in front of him, smiling. At this point, I realize that his thugs have ran away.
"Your buddies left you." I say, still smiling. His eye widen and he turns around himself, realizing they really were gone. I giggle, grabbing his arm and twisting it. He lets out a blood curdling scream as I continue twisting it into positions human arms shouldn't be in. I finally throw him to the floor, bored of his screaming now. He cries, holding his arm in pain. I reach down and pull the syringe out of his pocket. I slip it into my own pocket, then turn back to him. "Hmm... now what should I do with you?" I question, looking down at the horrified man. He shakes his head, causing me to smile. "You could cause more problems in the future... maybe I should just kill you." I say, hardening my hand into a blade. He starts backing up more and more.
I swing my arm back, ready to cause bodily harm to this man. But, just as I'm about to kill him, an image flashes in my head. Bakugou. I rest my arm down for a second, hesitating. Why am I thinking about Bakugou, out of any other time? My arms fall to my sides. I kneel down to the ground and harden my pointer finger, and carve my symbol onto his check. I then head back to the dorms.
