Jelani's P.O.V

Today was the day of Leah's baby shower and shit was hectic. The caterer was gonna be late with the food. The party planner couldnt decorate the venue due to a family emergency , so I had to find somebody to help me decoarte the place. Then after that I have to go help Leah get dressed and do her makeup, along with mine and get her and Dre her on time. So you could say I was stressing.

"hello" I answered my phone as my sister Jessica called me.

"we're outside the venue." she said referring to her and my cousin Jailee.

"okay I'm coming." I hung up.

I walked from inside the venue to go help them bring the decorations and things in. I have an hour to help them before I go help Leah. 

"Okay girls I can only stay for an hour, so lets get with it." I sighed. "oh wait, who's gonna pick the cake up for me?" I asked.

"I will." Jailee sighed.\

"great thanks." I smiled.

"we got you sis." Jessica smiled.

We started putting the decoartions up and we were moving pretty fast. Before I knew it , it was time for me to leave.

"okay, y'all got it from here right?"  I asked.

"yeah." they said at the same time.

"okay the dj should be here soon, I'll bring the favors and things and Jai, you'll pick up the cake?" I reassured.

"yup." she nodded.

"okay as long as everything is done by 3:30. The caterer will be here at 4 instead of 3. So guys have time to go and get changed." I said picking up my purse and leaving out the door.

I got in my car and sped off to Leah's house. I used my key and walked in.

"Baby mama, Godmommy here." I yelled.

She came out the kitchen looking beautiful. That pregnancy glow was everything. Her was in pin curls while she was eating a apple.

"How's everything over at the venue?" she asked nervously.

"Just fine, I have Jessi and Jailee over the looking over everything." I smiled. "Ready to get sexy?" I asked.

"I''m always sexy, but of course let's get started." she grinned.

Leah's P.O.V

Jelani was doing my makeup while Zaire was going crazy. I guess he was excited for the baby shower too. 

"Jae , your godson is going crazy in here." I giggled.

"aww he's excited." she cooed.

" he know he finna get spoiled, thats why." I rolled my eyes.

Jelani finished my contour as I got ready to put on my dress and take my pin curls down. 

"hey, Ima go shower and get dress in the guess room. Come get me if you need me." she said peeking her head in.

"okay." I nodded.

I pulled on my all white maxi dress and walked to my closet to get my white thong Micheal Kors sandals. I strapped them on by myself and got up and walked to my vanity. I started taking my pin curls done and finger combed them. Letting them fall free and flowy. 

Ten minutes later my bestfriend came in looking just as gorgeous as me.

"Dont you look pretty." I complimented.

"Thank you, Likewise beautiful." she smiled. "You ready?" she asked.

"Yeah, lemme just call Dre." I said grabbing my phone.

I dialed his number and waited for him to pick up. 

"hey baby." he answered.

I smiled. "Hi baby daddy, you ready to head over to the venue?" I asked.

"Nah, I'm waiting for Shadow slow ass. We should be leaving in ten minutes thou." He sighed.

"okay , thats fine, Just text me when you on the way." I said.

" Ight, Love you ma." he said.

"Love you too baby." I smiled as I hung up.

"okay I just got off the phone with Jessi , she said she just got back to the venue. She said the Dj and Caterer are there and guest are starting to arrive." Jelani said out of breath.

"So I guess we should leave." I smiled.

Honestly I was starting to feel nervous but I was also very happy. My baby boy would be here in two weeks. I smiled at the thought of holding my baby boy.

Jelani grabbed the favors and I grabbed the prizes for the games and we were out the door. Soon as I got in the car I received a text from Dre saying they were leaving. I texted him back telling him we were on our way as well and to wait outside since we were walking in together. 

Jelani pulled off to the venue and I immediately shook the nerves and got happy. All these people were coming to help me celebrate the life of my baby boy and I was so happy.

We pulled up to the venue and saw Shadow and Dre leaned up against Shadow's range rover. My baby daddy looked so cute. He had on all wait as well. I got out the car while Shadow and Jelani took the rest of the supplies inside.

"I missed you." I smiled at Dre.

"I missed yall more." he said rubbing my belly.

"please dont, he just calmed down. He was kicking my ass all day." I giggled.

"Okay guys, its time." Jelani said.

We walked to the venue as I heard Shadow goofy ass on the mic. 

"Okay its time to welcome Andre, Leah and Baby Zaire." Shadow Shouted as the Dj played Glory by Jay-z. 

I smiled as we walked and everybody cheered. We took a few pcitures and Jelani got started with the games right away. I on the other hand walked over to the food table. I made my plate and went to sit at my table. Dre came and sat next to me.

"How you feeling?" he asked.

"Tired and horny." I sighed.

"Dont worry its almost over, before you know it, We'll be home and I'll be giving you all the dick you want." he joked.

"shut up." I laughed. My baby shower really was moving fast. Before I knew it I was opening present and lawd there were so many.

I didnt have time to open them all. We cut the cake, gave out the prizes to the winners of the games. Then we handed out favors as I took a few more pictures. People were taking to go plates while Shadow and Dre were loading the gifts in the car. I sat and waited for Dre to come get me. 

I was exhausted , but I did Enjoy my baby shower.

We got home and Dre put the gifts in the Baby's room, we would put them up tomorrow. I took my clothes off and laid in bed.

"Babe." I whined.

"Wassup? You want the dick?" he smirked.

"no could you bring me my salted caramel gelato and then massage my feet?" I begged.

"I got you." he said leaving the room.

he returned with my gelato and baby lotion to rub my feet. He started the bomb as feet massage as we talked about our day. 

Next thing you know I was out cold.
