"Well, this is a predicament" I think to myself
I hear the click of the other player reloading
"C'mon Ben think fast!" I say to myself
Then, I react. I throw my pistols and a decoy over the box I'm hiding behind, he ducks thinking it was a flash and I'm charging him. I pull out my knife and sprint in his directions I lunge and and my knife digs into his back
"Now this is gaming!"I shout, throwing my headset off
I can hear people screaming in the lobby.
"Let's go!"
"Best play ever!"
"Ohh baby a triple"
But before I can reap my rewards of battle my alarm goes off
"I'm late for the bus!"
I run down stairs and wish my Mum and Dad a good day and run outside, the bus has already left so I hope on my bike and cycle as quickly to school as fast as humanly possible.
When I get into class I'm a bit late and all the kids tease me about wanting to go to a gaming school, but I push that aside and think about what it would be like. When I arrive home my parents look at me with the biggest smile I've ever seen.
"What's going on?" I ask cautiously
"When you were at school something came for you in the mail" my Mum says
"We thought you'd like to open it" my Dad finishes off my Mums sentence
"Yes! It must be that beta code for Deathstalker 3!"
I open it excitedly but when I open it, it's something different, something way better...
