The Dream!

Elena's POV

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I saw that dream again. Walking in the foggy woods, alone, seeing a man facing back to me and waking up when he's going to turn to look at me. Who is this man? What does this dream mean? Why am I seeing this every time? This is such a puzzle to me. I kept thinking about it while going downstairs to make some coffee. Jenna was in the kitchen.

"Good morning Elena"

"Hey Jenna" I forgot to greet her good morning as I was thinking about the dream.

"You're okay?" Asked Jenna looking at my puzzled face.

"Uh...yeah I'm fine. Just need some coffee to start the day" I said with a fake smile.

"No.... something's wrong. What were you thinking about?" Jenna knew I was lying to her. She knows me better than anyone.

"Um... why don't we talk about that after school? I've to go now. See ya"
I took my coffee to upstairs to get ready. I still can't figure out who's in that dream. He looks familiar. That is the most confusing thing. I want to find out who that man is. I will talk about this with Bonnie. Maybe she can help.

I went to my locker to get the books and there was Bonnie.

"Bonnie! Hey, I need to tell you something"

"Hey, what is it?" Said Bonnie.

"I'm seeing this same dream every night. I walk in the wood alone and I see a man facing back to me. When I try to call him, I always wake up. He tries to look at me but I wake up! This dream is troubling me Bonnie.... I see this every time I try to get some sleep after a long day. You know we've been dealing with these vampire things ever since Stephan and Damon came to our town? The only peaceful time that's left for me is when I can sleep a little. But since last week, I can't even get a good night sleep. This dream is creepy. Do you even know what this means? Or who this man could be?"

Bonnie raised her eyebrows looking down taking a deep breath.

"I don't know Elena. I know I've had dreams like that too. It could be someone you know. Or maybe someone you're going to meet in the future. Dreams can be predictive too. But tell me, how does he look like?"

"Bonnie I told you I wake up when he turns his head to me!"

"Is he hot?" Giggled Bonnie.

"This is not a joke! I'm serious"

"Okay okay I was just trying to get you into a good mood" said Bonnie smiling.

"I won't until I see this man" I said with a frown.

"Maybe you will see the dream again and by the time, he will turn back and you'll see his face. Don't worry. Give it time." Said Bonnie holding my shoulders.

I smiled. "Yes, I will be patient"

"Good. Now let's go to History. Rick doesn't want his students to be late" Bonnie said laughing.

"Haha yes" I tried to smile.

"Come on".
Bonnie and I went to the next period.
