Do I Like Him?

I went home late after cheerleader practices. I was exhausted so I went to bed to get a quick nap before dinner. And I saw it. I saw that dream again. I was walking alone in a scary foggy huge forest alone. And I see a figure standing in a few meters away. I go to check who that could be.

"Um.... hello?" I called him. My voice was shaking and so was I.

I knew he heard me. He turned his head a few degrees. Still I couldn't see his face.

"Who are you?"

He turned. 30 degrees to 45. 45 to 70. And then.......I saw his whole face.

It was, Elijah!

I ran downstairs to get my phone. I woke up. I saw him. Yes! I did! I was really happy. I wanted to call Bonnie.

"Bonnie, hey" I called her.

"Hey Elena. What's up?"

"I saw him Bonnie. I saw him" I said with a smile.

"Saw who? What are you talking about?" Bonnie was clueless.

"The man in the dream! I saw him!"

"Oh my god! Who is he?" Asked Bonnie excited.

"It's Elijah!"

"WHAT? Why would you see him? Did he say anything?" Asked Bonnie.

"No. But he smiled at me" my cheeks went pink.

"Oh girl! This isn't good"

"Why not?!" I Asked Bonnie. I was surprised to hear that. Why would Bonnie say such a thing. We both know that Elijah is a humble, selfless man. What is wrong with seeing him in my dreams?

"You seem to like the dream. I have a feeling that you're having a crush on Elijah. I felt that one day when you came home after seeing Elijah" explained Bonnie.

"Uh... I don't know if that's a crush but Elijah is a good man. I respect him. I still don't know if I like him"

"Oh I guess you do. Otherwise you wouldn't be loving this dream so much" said Bonnie reassuringly.

I couldn't resist the dream of manly, hot, handsome Elijah. He is a kind man with a smart attitude. Even better than my boyfriend Stephan. I shouldn't be thinking like that but I guess I like him. But I wasn't sure about that.

"I don't know Bonnie. He's attractive to me. And yes I think I like him. But that's wrong! I have Stephan. I shouldn't be thinking about another man when I already have one" I told Bonnie.

"I know Elena. But you wouldn't be dreaming of another man if you're happy with your own man. So think twice. I'm sure you like him" said Bonnie kindly.

"You're right Bonnie. Maybe I'm not happy with Stephan. But I can't hurt him. He loves me so much."

"But do you?"

I was speechless. Yes, I don't love Stephan as much as he love me. Things changed. Since Rose kidnapped me. That is the first day I saw Elijah. He was such a handsome man. I'm secretly cheating on my boyfriend.

"Look. Hey, you don't have to feel guilty. You haven't done anything with Elijah. Don't think that you're cheating on Stephan" said Bonnie.

"How did you know I was thinking exactly the same thing?!" I Asked surprisingly.

Bonnie smirked. "I'm a witch. Remember?"

I smiled at Bonnie. "Oh yes. You're my witchy bitchy."

Bonnie laughed.

"Don't worry Elena. You're not happy with Stephan. I know. So it's okay to see dreams like this and have a crush on a decent man" Bonnie smiled at me. I have such a good friend.

"So do you think I should let Elijah know about my feelings? I Asked Bonnie scratching my head like an idiot.

"NO! Don't tell him. Don't tell that you've feelings for him. But you can show them. Try to show your feelings one by one. And you'll see if he feels the same way about you. Don't rush into anything" said Bonnie trying to stop me from doing a stupid thing.

"Yeah ok. But what about Stephan?" I was worried about him.

"If he doesn't make you happy, then I see no reason why shouldn't leave him" said Bonnie angrily.

"I'm not going to break up with Stephan Bonnie. I can't. He has done so much for me and I can't repay him like that. Besides, Damon will kill me"

"Damon wouldn't kill you. You know he has a secret crush on you too right?" Smirked Bonnie.

"Oh god, don't start with that" Bonnie and I laughed. It was funny that both of the Salvatore brothers were in love with Me just like they were in love with Katherine decades ago!

"Ok Bonnie I'll see you tomorrow. Gotta go now. Bye"

"Good night Elena. Sweet dreams!" Smiled Bonnie. I know she was saying that I will see Elijah in my dream again.

It's true. Even I wanted to see Elijah again. Because, Yes. I like him.
