I'm running. I don't know where I am; It's dark. "Help!" I scream at the top of my lungs. "Help!" I continue to shout as I run. I gotta get outta here. Does this forest ever end? Soon I slam into someone.

Looking through my wet eyelashes and scared eye I see a dark figure. "You gotta help me. Someone's chasing me." I ramble in a panick.

"Oh, I'll do a lot more then help you." The figure comes close. I see it's that guy. The man with the blue eyes. Fangs potruding his top lip.

"What are you?" I tremble. My lips quiver in fear. I'm shaking.

"You're worst nightmare." He then proceeds to bite into my neck. I scream..

Jolting awake, my fingers trail where his mouth was at. Seeing that there's no blood, I try to shake off the feeling of death. Flinging the covers off of my body. I place my feet on the floor. Running my fingers through my hair I try to figure out where I've seen those eyes. Are vampires real? They exist? How is that even possible? Shaking my head to get rid of the thoughts and that dream; I walk out of Elena and I's bedroom. I hear clutter going on downstairs. I quietly go back to our bedroom and get the wooden baseball bat under my bed  I hold it tight in my grip as if I'm going to hit a home run. Being as quiet as possible I make my way downstairs.

"Elena?" I call out. No answer. "Aunt Jenna, Jer?" Still no answer. Oh God! Someone broke him and taking our food. Not my nutty buddies! I turn the corner, ready to beat the intruder.

I swing the bat. "Woah! Jesus!" She exclaims. I see Elena and two other mysterious dudes.

I lower my defense weapon. " I thought someone was stealing my nutty buddies."

"Of course you would think that." Elena chuckles and she digs through the fridge. She pulls out some ingredients. A tomato, some peppers, and cheese.

" You can't cook, you know that right? You burn water." I raise my brow at her.

She gives me the look she always gives me when I point out her flaw. I proceed to carry my bat to the island. I set it down, but not far from me. I don't trust these guys. "I know, that's why Stefan's going to. He offered." She shrugs her shoulders.

"Who's Stefan? Why are these strangers in our house?" I shouldn't be talking this much. Closing my mouth now.

"Stefan is my boyfriend, thats him. Along with his brother Damon." She points to a brunette haired, green eyed man. Then she proceeds to point at an older looking man with bright blue eyes and black hair. I gasp. My body freezes. I know those eyes; my dream.

I grab my bat and make my way back upstairs. I slam my door shut and I slide down the door. Why did I dream that guy bit me? What the hell? Are vampires real? No, that's ridiculous. That sounds crazy. Am I crazy? Tears leak outta my eyes and roll down my cheeks.

Elena's POV

"Sorry about her. Ever since our parents died she's been having a really hard time. I'm actually surprised she talked that much." I continue to wash the veggies. "Most she's talked in a long time." Setting down the pepper, I sigh running my hands through my hair.

"Hey, it's okay." Stefan pulls me into a hug. I feel tears sting in my eyes as he rubs my back.

I step away from Stefan and wipe under my eyes. "Sorry." I chuckle.  I proceed to get the meat outta the fridge, opening the package I season the meat.

"Well, this is depressing." Damon quotes leaning on the counter.

"Have some sympathy Damon."

"Sorry Stef, it's not my strong suit."

Soon there's footsteps racing doesn't the stairs. The front door slams shut. My feet race to swing open the door. "Opal!"

Her feet stops and turns towards me. Her dark eyes are hooded with sadness. Her cheeks are tear stained. She turns back around and runs off.

"Opal!"
