From 1.01 "Pilot", night in the woods, over the fog-covered forest floor.

Klaus: (voice over) "Previously on Worlds Colliding (The Vampire Diaries)"

From 4.15 "Stand By Me", in the living room of the Gilbert House, Elena and Alex were kneeling on the floor holding each other.

Damon knelt in front of them. "Turn it off."

They watched as Elena and Alex's tear-stained faces turned utterly expressionless, still. The light left their eyes, as though something inside them had died.

From 4.16 "Bring It On", in the street, Alex and Elena were feeding on the woman.

Nicola: (voice over from 4.16 Bring It On) "Their humanity's off."

From 4.16 "Bring It On", in Billy's, Alex and Elena stood on either side of the women, biting into her neck, feeding.   

Stefan: (voice over from 4.16 Bring It On) "They're ruthless without their humanity."  

From 4.19 "Pictures of You", outside the prom, Nicola stabbed Elena with a syringe filled with vervain.

Elena fell unconscious in Damon's arms.

Kaylin stabbed Alex with a syringed filled with vervain.

Alex fell unconscious in Stefan's arms.

Nicola: (voice over from 4.19 Pictures of You) "Plan C. Make their lives a living hell."

From 4.16 "Bring It On", in the dining room of Klaus' Mansion, Klaus and Hayley were talking.

"I was in New Orleans, trying to find information about my real parents and a sister I never knew I had," Hayley told him.

From 4.16 "Bring It On", in Klaus' room, Klaus looked at Hayley's birthmark. "I've only seen that Mark on a handful of others, all from the same werewolf clan that once thrived throughout Louisiana."

From 4.19 "Pictures of You", in Klaus' Mansion, Klaus and Elijah were talking.

"What makes you think I'll spare you beloved Katerina?" Klaus asked.

"You will spare her because I'm asking you to spare her," Elijah told him. "As your only living brother, I would ask that you provide me with this opportunity to love."

Klaus walked closer to him. "I gave you that opportunity, when you had the opportunity to proceed a life with Nicola Salvatore."

From 4.18 "American Gothic", in the alleyway, Elijah and Nicola were looking at each other after he called her out for not burning the letter like she had said she did.

Klaus: (voice over from 4.19 Pictures of You) "But, instead, you left, because of your guilt of what you had done to her friends."

Elijah looked behind Nicola, his expression turning darker.

Nicola turned her head to look over her shoulder, seeing Katherine standing behind her, several yards away, up the stairs of the alleyway. 

Klaus: (voice over from 4.19 Pictures of You) "And of the guilt that half the reason she was sick and close to dying was because you..."

From 2.14 "Crying Wolf", in the library of the Salvatore Boarding House, Nicola was chained to her chair.

Stevie placed a hand on her shoulder, starting to cut into the left side of Nicola's neck, making her gasp in pain as he cut to the right.
