When I got back from Claire's house, I decided that I didn't want to spend an entire sunday stuck at home so I got a few snacks, charged my phone while I was getting ready, got my earphones that I had left behind and got out of the house,going in the direction of a small park that was in the neighborhood.
I found a bench and sat on it, relaxing with the music playing, but all that stopped when I heard a person calling my name.
Since my name isn't very unusual, I moved on and didn't look up.
But when I heard it much closer to me than before, I opened my eyes and saw a little girl, maybe 5 years old, staring right into my eyes.
When I looked at the person beside her, I figured out from where I knew her.
She was Ryan's little cousin.
And the person beside her was Ryan.
"NICOLE!!!!"- Sarah, that is her name, screamed while jumping into my lap.
Luckily I was able to catch her just in time.
Her little legs were around my hips and her little arms where squeezing my neck with a huge hug.
"Hey, love"- I greet while smiling at her when she let go of my neck
"I missed you SO much!"- She continued to scream with a massive smile on her face.
"I missed you too"
I answered but all of the sudden, her lip started to tremble.
"Oh no, what's wrong honey?"
"Why did you stop going to my home and see me?"- She asks while a little tear left her eye.
*flashback #4*
I quickly wiped it away with my thumb and answered
"Some things happened and now I can't go anymore."- I explained the best I could looking at Ryan for a second and found him looking at the ground almost in shame.
"Oh! But can you come see me here every sunday?! Please!!"- She pleads, now looking very excited.
"I will try my hardest."- I answer honestly.
She squeezes me once again for a few moments until Ryan decided to ruin our reunion and says that it's time for them to go.
I give her a small kiss in the cheek and she does the same, with another hug and only then she leaves my lap and goes with Ryan, away from me.
(...)
The next day, when I was leaving my house, I noticed a weird car in my driveway.
As I got close the window started to roll down, showing me Jason on the drivers seat.
"What are you doing here?"
"Good morning to you too. And I've come to pick you up, so hurry up and get in"
After thinking about it, I roll my eyes at him and got in.
On the way there, we made small talk to keep noise in the car.
When we got to school, the day started as normal...
People staring, whispers, probably rumors.. But as the day was about to end, I got a text from a unknown number which scared me a bit, to be honest.

I noticed that you spent the entire day pretty distracted, are you okay? R
Me
I'm fine... But who are you?
R
Somebody you will probably never find out...
That was kind of creepy, because they only person in my class with R in their name is Robert but I've never talked to him before.
