Episode 1 - Friendship Is Magic part 1

Description: An antisocial Unicorn named Twilight Sparkle and her out going twin brother Phantom learn of a prophecy that states the evil Nightmare Moon will return during the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration after one thousand years of imprisonment in the moon. She tries to warn her mentor Princess Celestia of the impending danger, but she dismisses her and instead sends the twins to Ponyville to check on the preparations for the celebration and befriend the other Ponies there. As a result, a happy Phantom and a reluctant Twilight meet five ponies in charge of the preparations: Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie. At the celebration, Nightmare Moon suddenly appears in place of a missing Princess Celestia and decrees everlasting night.

Episode 2 - Friendship Is Magic part 2

Description: After Nightmare Moon decrees eternal night, Phantom, Twilight and their new friends venture deep into the Everfree Forest to find the Elements of Harmony, a set of artifacts used to defeat Nightmare Moon in the past. Nightmare Moon creates obstacles to stop the seven ponies, but each of Twilight and Phantom's friends help the group overcome them using their own strengths. Once they find the Elements, Nightmare Moon appears and shatters them. The twins realize that both of them and their new friends embody the six Elements—honesty (Applejack), kindness (Fluttershy), laughter (Pinkie Pie), generosity (Rarity), loyalty (Rainbow Dash), magic (Twilight) and Spirit (Phantom)—and the seven wield them to defeat Nightmare Moon, returning her to her original form as Princess Celestia's younger sister, Princess Luna. Princess Celestia returns, forgives Luna and orders Twilight and Phantom to stay in Ponyville in order to continue studying the magic of friendship.

Episode 3 - The Ticket Master

Description: Princess Celestia sends Twilight and Phantom three tickets for the upcoming exclusive Grand Galloping Gala. Upon learning of the tickets, each of their friends insists they should be the one to go with Phantom and Twilight, and the five start giving them special treatment to earn their favor. Twilight and Phantom are unwilling to pick any one friend over another and they both decide to politely returns the tickets to the princess despite their friends' apologies for their selfishness. To everyone's surprise, the princess replies by sending back enough tickets for Twilight, Phantom and all of their friends.

Episode 4 - Applebuck Season

Description: Apple harvesting season is upon Sweet Apple Acres, but with her brother Big McIntosh injured, the task of bucking apples from their trees falls upon Applejack herself. Applejack insists she can do it herself, and refuses the help of Phantom, Twilight Sparkle and her friends. She quickly becomes weary from the work, but still upholds promises to help with other tasks around town. Phantom seeing this decides to help Applejack by bucking the apple tree at night. In Applejack's sleep-deprived daze, however, her assistance goes awry and wreaks havoc on Ponyville. Twilight intervenes and insists Applejack let her friends help, but it is not until after Applejack collapses that she finally relents, and the task of harvesting is quickly completed. 

Episode 5 - Griffon the Brush-Off

Description: Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Phantom discover they share a common interest in playing harmless practical jokes on other ponies. Later, Rainbow Dash's childhood friend Gilda, a griffon, arrives and Pinkie finds herself left out of Rainbow Dash and Gilda's activities. When Pinkie sees Gilda acting rudely towards the other ponies around town and fight Phantom, she becomes determined to cheer her up with a party. At the party, Gilda becomes the victim of several practical jokes, to which she blames Pinkie and Phantom for them. However, Rainbow Dash admits to setting up the pranks. Gilda becomes frustrated and flies off, leaving Rainbow Dash to reaffirm her friendship with Pinkie and Phantom.
