Jahquel

The door opened slowly, I sat on my bed as I saw Malik walking in. I slowly stood up as he opened his mouth, ready to communicate. He looked at me as he asked me, "are you ready Jay?"  I stood and nodded, "Yes, Malik let's go..." I walked outside, going to two unmarked graves, now blank slaps of marble indicating that the two lives that were here must've were the first for the Order to have recorded lost. I fell to my knees, tears rising and falling from my eyes, Malik asked as he touched my back, "are you okay? What happened to you? What's wrong?" I could tell in his voice was concerned, it's been a while since a human expressed sympathy and worry. I sobbed, saying, "Malik... I remember.... I remember it all!!! EVERY DAMN THING!!!!"  I could feel my sadness turn into pure hatred, which then I began to feel emptiness as the tears continued. "Let's go sit find a bench and talk, okay?" Malik suggested. I nodded, feeling shut off from the world while struggling to stand. He lifted me and walked me to the nearest bench. "Jah-quel, what do you remember?" He asked me. I looked to the ground as I answered, "My past, the creation of the Order, my real name, and... who those two were...." my voice quivered as I said that. He sat next to me, his heart beating gently and calmly, "Care to reveal?"  I shook my head saying, "not yet... Give me some time... Please...."  His heart slowly began to beat faster, "Jahquel, other humans will come soon..."  I breathed in and then slowly exhaled, "Malik.... I created this Order..."  Shock struck his face as his heart and several other's seemed to have skipped a beat or two. "I had a wife and child Malik... Mary  and Nobel were their names... I lost them to my sister's children. They caught my wife and child and tortured them.."  Tears kept falling as I slowly glanced at the memorial wall, names of every hunter that has died while hunting. Seeing so many names, I could only feel regret into getting humans to do this. "I shouldn't have created the Order.... I was a fool and blind and...." I suddenly felt Malik's hand on my shoulder, his stern and gentle, as he says to me, "you were grieving my friend, nothing wrong with that. Plus, without the Order, I'm sure we humans would've been exterminated or turned into livestock, you gave us a chance to fight back." I nodded, half realizing that he's right. I need my weapons Malik, I'm going to hunt vampires as well. I already knew that he got fearful and stepped back... But I knew my sister must still be alive, I could only feel a few power similar to me. I stood up, "I can't let humans die anymore..." I heard the sound of guns readying and the release of a few blades from their sheaths.... I stepped towards the marble gravestones....
