It's been a few days since your boyfriend Tsukishima came back from training camp. Unfortunately you couldn't be there to watch and support him, which pissed you off to say the least. But right now, all that mattered was that you were able to see him once again.
But... something was off. He was..quiet? Now that may not seem weird at all since we all know and love our tsukki for not being a crackhead, but he hadn't made a single snarky comment. He hadn't sarcastically said anything about how small you were, even though he would joke about it everyday. He hadn't mentioned how he hated your eyes for being 'stupidly beautiful'. Or even how he 'didn't understand why you bothered wearing makeup when you're already naturally gorgeous.' Clearly something was wrong.
So, as the loving partner you are, you asked him if he wanted to have a movie night. You made sure to buy all of his favourite snacks and sweets- you even decided to make strawberry shortcake since he loves it so much.
*･゜ﾟ･*:.｡..｡.:*･'(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)'･*:.｡. .｡.:*･゜ﾟ･* You both lay on your sofa, his arm resting on your waist as you hold his hand tight, your fingers interlocked. You had missed moments like this when he was gone. But, what made moments like these better was when Tsukki would make little critical comments about the movie which you found so funny you would almost piss yourself. And when he played with your hair until you ended up falling asleep on his chest. But no. He was as quiet as ever. With that said, and your mind all made up, you let go of your boyfriends hand and rolled over to face him. "Tsukki." "hm?" "Are you ok? you seem a bit distant?" "i'm fine." He said hesitantly. "Kei. Tell me what's wrong. Now." he raised an eyebrow at your demanding tone and the sudden use of his first name before he removed his glasses and closed his eyes. "I'm fine, just tired, that's all." "Tsukki, i'm always here for you, you need to tell me when you're not feeling great or if there's anything on your mind. You know that right?" You say as you gently bury your head in Kei's neck, Closing ur (E/C) eyes.
There were a few minutes of silence before you felt the body underneath you shake a little bit. Sniffles upon sniffles danced around your head before you felt a single drop of water land on your cheek before trickling down your neck.
Kei. Your boyfriend. The only person you truly loved, was in tears. This was the first time you had ever seen him this vulnerable, the first time you've ever seen him cry. You quickly sat up on your knees, examining his face. His gorgeous eyes, now bloodshot. Tears running down his perfect face.
You pulled him by his shirt, resting his head on your chest as you began stroking his blonde locks and rubbing his back, whilst Tsukki completely broke down right in front of you.
For every tear that trickled down his face, your heart broke into millions of pieces.
The worst part about this was that you didn't even know what to say to comfort the love of your life. As soon as you gathered the right words to say, Tsukki's grip on you tightened, as his heavy breathing slowed down. "I'm sorry, I'm so useless." "Kei wha-" "i'm sorry that i'm not enough." And with that said, more tears fell from his eyes. He cried into ur chest whilst hugging you tighter than he had ever hugged you before. "You're amazing Kei Tsukishima. Whatever happened at that training camp is behind you now. Don't let it get you down. You're not 'useless' at all, to be honest, i don't know what i'd do with out you." You say as you place your arms around his neck, holding him close to you as you plant soft kisses all over his forehead. You're boyfriends sniffles begin to die down. You both stay in the passionate bear hug for a few minutes before you decide to lay down, Tsukki laying on top of you as you carry on massaging his head.
You move your hands off his head for a few minutes to adjust your hair.
