Chapter 2: New Years

Four was on the couch with X, watching the ball drop on the TV. "Why do people celebrate the new year?" Four raised a brow as a band started playing on the TV "There's a lot of reasons people celebrate, but we do have fun traditions because of it." X smiled "Like what?" Another band started playing on the TV, they still had a while until midnight "Well, getting extremely drunk is one of them, and I intend to do that." X said as he picked up a bottle of booze "Wow ok then, don't even mention kissing as the ball drops." Four rolled his eyes "I gotta get drunk enough first! When I kiss you I want you to get wasted!" X laughed "I'm not letting you get even close to that drunk." Four playfully nudged X with his shoulder, he regained his balance after a moment. "Ok, your already over the limit with this..." Four grabbed X's booze, but X climbed on Four to get it back groaning a bit about how he wasn't done. X slipped on Four and stumbled, giving Four time to teleport it elsewhere "Hey!" X flopped into Four's lap in defeat, and Four started stroking X's head "I'll give it back later." Four sighed "Fine..." X grumbled as Four continued petting X. "Hey, there's only a minute left until midnight!" Four exclaimed "Nice!" X sat up and leaned on Four. The two watched the TV as the ball slowly moved down and the countdown was concluding, as they heard happy new year Four kissed X and embraced him warmly. X kissed Four back and returned the hug. As Four and X released from the kiss, Four licked his lips slightly "You didn't get me wasted with that but you definitely taste like booze." Four laughed "Aw, man!" X laughed along with Four and they held each other as they talked, slowly passing out in each other's arms.
