it was supposed to be an ordinary, and fun day.
we planned the day carefully, made sure that we wouldn't miss out even a single second. all was going well, until a certain thing happened, causing us to arrive here.
but before we go forward onto the story, we should go back to where everything started.
.
pushing the bathroom door open, i rushed out and went straight towards my closet. my hands hastily searched around, trying to find a decent outfit to wear. i took the risk of quickly glancing at the clock, and the time made my eyes widened.
just seven more minutes until it's nine.
silently cursing myself for oversleeping, i continued to move around my hangered clothes. finally deciding what i would wear, i snatched them from the hanger they resided and swiftly put them on.
why was i such in a rush? why couldn't i take my sweet time, and put on my clothes smoothly? well, the reason why i'm basically tossing the clothes randomly on my body, is because i'm running late for me and my friends outing. we made a deal, that whoever gets to the meeting place, will be the one treating all of us.
i can't treat them. as much as i want to, i can't. being broke and all, that's not an easy thing to do.
so here i am, putting my clothes on with the speed of sonic the hedgehog. after a few horrendous minutes of that, i finally managed to wear all of them. turning around to grab my hairbrush and purse, i made my way downstairs.
once i reached the living room, the lovely and delightful aroma of dad cooking breakfast invaded my nose. i could literally feel my mouth watering, but i swallowed back the saliva before it could escape my lips, and went towards my father.
"hey dad, i'm leaving today to meet up with my friends, be back later."
pecking him on the cheeks, dad turned to me with a raised eyebrow. "and where will you guys be going?"
"oh you know, just around the neighbourhood, don't worry. we'll be safe."
"hmm, okay. fine. you aren't eating before you leave?"
shaking my head i spun around and ran towards the door. "nope! don't want to be late! but i'll be home before dinner, though!"
"be back at exactly four!"
"i'll try!"
then i shut the door. smiling cheekily, i peered at the clock on my phone. my eyes bulged out of it's sockets when i saw the time, if that was even.
possible.only four more minutes until it's nine.
f.
as if i acquired killua's godspeed, i sprinted towards our meeting place, quietly praying i could arrive there on time.
.
bad news and good news.
the good news being, i reached there on time. which means, i won't be treating them today! my friend, riley, arrived around a few minutes after me, so she was the one treating us today. what a relief!
and the bad news was i looked as if was kicked out of hell.
"yikes, you look terrible." riley said. turning around, i gave her a look. "no, you."
we both mocked each other, until zoey went over and told us to stop.
these are my friends,
riley edson, a girl with short dark brown hair, brown eyes and light skin. despite her petite appearance, you wouldn't want to mess with her. she's reliable, strong, dedicated, and at some times, sarcastic. but despite that, there are times where she gets emotional. she's actually very sensitive, but tries to hide it by saying it's nothing. out of all of my friends, riley's the one i relate to the most.
