Chapter Fifteen : Baby Daddy

" Hey how you feeling , I brought you some breakfast " Mya told Cash as she walked into her house and found her sitting in the living room staring into space .

" I'm not hungry " Cash mumbled .

" You can't keep doing this , you got to feed that baby. Speaking of that baby when are you going to go to the doctor ? " Mya questioned .

It's only been a month since the boys have been locked up and Cash was taking it hard . She didn't leave the house and she barely ate . Mya knew it was mostly her pregnancy hormones making her act that way.

" I don't know if i'm even going to keep this baby " Cash said causing Mya to sigh .

" Don't do that Cashmere . You already did that once don't do it again . There's people that wish they could pregnant once let alone twice " She said.

" Mya I can't do this by myself " Cash cried .

" You got this . You raised Ionesty all by yourself , when you found out about Terell you took him in and helped him learn stuff his mother was never able to . You can do this and you won't be alone .. you have me , coco , and hazel " Mya said .

" I know but it's different this is my baby .... I don't know how to be a mother , how can I be a mother when I never had one for myself . I feel like i'll just fuck this baby up how my mama fucked up me and dhaz " She vented .

" You're not your mama Cash ... you're going to be a great mama " Mya assured her .

" Thank you Mya forreal like you've really been here this whole time pulling me back together and I know you have to deal with this yourself " Cash said . It was crazy to say that her and Mya weren't cool for the longest but she was the main one looking out for her nowadays .

She won't discredit CoCo because he was a good friend too and if he would've known how she was really doing he would've been there in her ass too but she didn't want to worry him with her problems when he had a newborn baby .

" Like I said we're family and right now all we have is each other and our babies " Mya said and Cash nodded.

" Here eat " Mya said handing her the Chic Fil A bag . Cash opened the bag and started pulling out her food . " and here I got you some gummie prenatal vitamins from walgreens until you go to the doctor " she said throwing the walgreens bag next to her .

Bee let himself into the house talking to someone on the phone . " Hey " Cash and Mya both said.

" Wassup " Bee said handing Cash the phone and she knew that it was Riq .

" Hey baby " Cash said innocently knowing he was about to fuss with her.

" What's you on ma ? Why you ain't been answering my calls ? " He fussed. .

" I'm sorry baby , my phone hasn't been charged " She said.

" Don't let yourself go Cash , Bee told me how you been in there all depressed and shit not eating that's not good for you . You stronger than that , I want you to pull it together " He told her.

" I'm pregnant " she blurted out .

" Why you ain't been tell me ? " He asked growing upset.

" because I wasn't sure on what I was going to do " She said and he took a deep breath to try to calm himself down.

" So you was gonna kill another one of my babies without telling me .. wow " he said .

" it's not like that " she said trying to avoid an argument with him , that's the last thing she wanted to do .

" it's exactly like that , man look just give bee the phone " He said.

" Riq ... can I just explain to you where i'm coming from ? " she said.

" I already know where you coming from you don't want have no baby for me , like why we even still together cash  " He asked irritated .

" It's not about that , first of all you're going to be in jail for fourteen years , i'm going to be doing this on my own and I'm scared okay . You see who my mama is and how me and dhaz turned out " She explained .

" I don't want hear none of that shit , just know if you kill my baby you don't have shit to tell me " He said before hanging up in her face .

She gave bee his phone and sighed . She knew that he wouldn't see things from her point of view which is why she didn't want to tell him .

He was only thinking about her having his baby but he didn't think about the fact that she would have to go through everything alone . She would have to go through the whole pregnancy by herself , He wouldn't be in the delivery room holding her hand , he wouldn't witness the baby's first breath , or steps , or words.

" what'd he say ? " Mya asked watching a tear fall from her eyes.

" He told me if I didn't keep the baby I don't have shit to say to him " She said .

" Look I feel where you coming from Cash but I feel like your emotions are just all over the place and you're not thinking straight right now . " Bee said .

" No he's wrong he's not even thinking about me . He's not the going to be here to help me with the baby ? How am I supposed to finish school , find a way to make money , and take care of this baby ? " She asked .

" You know I got you , both of y'all. " Bee said .

" But we're not your responsibility bee " Cash said . Bee was real nice and he's been checking on her and mya everyday making sure that they'd eaten and that they were just overall good.

" Look Riq and Nate are my brothers . GMBAM is a family and y'all know that , and family look out for each other. When I was locked up , they made sure that my peoples was straight and I promised them that i'd do the same for y'all " He said.

Cash didn't say anything she just stared at the bottle of prenatal vitamins that Mya had given thinking about wha she was going to do . " Real shit ... keep the baby " Bee told her .

She didn't say anything again but they got their answer when she opened the bottle and took two of the gummies putting them in her mouth .

I know it's been a while since i've updated and I honestly don't know when the next one will be . I had my baby two weeks ago and all of my time is accounted for . I'm either sleeping with my baby or caring for my baby or using my free time to get myself together .
