"PSA PSA CAN I HAVE EVERYBODY IN THE LIVING ROOM PLEASE AND THANK YOU" I yelled

"Wassup" Chris said sitting down on the couch in front of me and Nomi came and sat on his lap.

"RODDY HURRY UP" I yelled cause he was the only one we was waiting on

"I'm right here" he said from behind me wrapping his arms around me

"Sit down you almost gave me a heart attack" I said holding my chest.

"So what you got to say" he said sitting down

"So I decided to go to the University of Southern California instead of FAMU" I said

"Really!! Omg girl we gon be roommates" Nomi said getting up and hugging me jumping up and down and I just laughed.

"Yea" I said looking at Roddy but he didn't really seem happy.

"You sure you want to do that Dee. You had a full academic scholarship" he said

"I know but I have a full academic scholarship to USC too" I said and he nodded

"I just don't want you to regret not going to FAMU cause you talked my head off about that school so damn much" he said

"I know but you know plans change. I talked it over with my parents and we were going over pros and cons and I decided to go to USC" I told him

"So what where the pros?" He questioned

"I won't be so far away from family and I'd be able to come back home anytime I want, me and Nomi can be roommates" I said before getting cut off

"Yess ma'am" Nomi said and I laughed

"You can visit me anytime" I said sitting in his lap

"And I wouldn't have to struggle to make a new group of friends and although FAMU has a better business program I'd probably struggle out there cause I wouldn't have a strong support system like I do here" I said staring at him

"I've thought this all the way through and this is my final decision" I told him and he nodded

"God has answered my prayers cause only God knows how bad I wanted you to stay" he smiled picking me up and spinning me around.

"Roddy put me down" I laughed and he put me down.

"I ain't wanna seem to happy right off the bat but shit I couldn't contain that shit no more" he said and I smiled

"You did a good job cause you had a stale facial expression questioning me" I told him

"I know I just wanted to hear your thought process behind your whole decision" he said pecking my lips

"Get a room" Nomi said grabbing me and pulled me to the couch and I sat down.

"So when do you start your classes?" She questioned

"Next week on Monday so we can move in together during the weekend and I already told administration that I wanna be your roommate so you can stop bugging me about who you think your roommate is gonna be cause it's me" I said

"Damnnnn your good as fuck at hiding shit" she laughed

"Yeah it was hard tho cause I wanted to tell y'all so bad but I wanted it to be a surprise" I said

"How long you knew?" Chris questioned eating a brownie

"Since January " I said

"Ohhhh wowwww" Nomi said
