Couple gets stuck in the rain and they're rushing home.

"Felix! I thought you checked the weather!" Bella cried holding her jacket over her head as they ran down the sidewalk. The dark clouds had opened up an poured down onto their heads right in the middle of their trip to the book store. They could have stayed in the musty bookstore or ran home in the pouring rain to watch Supernatural.

Supernatural won.

"This better be worth it." Felix groaned before they pushed open the door. Bella had pecked his cheek and he felt himself grow braver for the blinding trip ahead. They were literally heading out into a hurricane.

"I DID! THEY SAID LIGHT SHOWERS!" He cried out into the rain.He might have been blind from the rain but bella wasnt deaf. Bella had grabbed his hand and was pulling him through the vacant streets stopping every so often to make sure she wasn't running into anything.

"UGH CURSE YOU WEATHER MAN!"

"DON'T CURSE THE MAJESTICAL WEATHER MAN!" Bella screamed in through the wind and rain. Felix'ses laughs echoed through the rain as she yelled at him.

"YOU JUST LIKE HIM CUZ HE IS CUTE!"

Scoffing she stops and turns to Felix.

"That's not it at all!" She yells mockingly. Felix leans in slowly helping cover their heads with his jacket. Still tiny droplets run down his face and Bella watches one of them fall like a tear to his chin. Finally she looks up into his eyes.

"Then prove it." He whispers. Almost so carefully and soft that Bella could barely hear it. But as the words passed his lips she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. Her tip toes strained from her standing on them so long but she didn't care. His lips were soft and slightly wet from the rain and yes she might have had hair plastered to her face and mascara running down her cheeks but it didn't matter. Felixes coat kept them partially dry for a moment but soon the rain enveloped them again.

As he pulled away ever so slightly Bella laughed. "Crap we're the cheesy couple now." She joked and pecked his cheek gently. Hitting his hand to his head Felix groaned mockingly.

"DANGIT I forgot I can't kiss my girlfriend in public. I'm going to hell." Shaking her head as he pulled her into his chest and wrapped his arms around her stomach. He kissed the top of her soaking hoodie and put his head on her shoulder.

They stood there in the silence. The rain poured down on them until it soaked through Felix's converse, and rain drops had accumulated so much on Bella's glasses that it looked like she was crying.

But the silence was perfect. The rain wasn't bothering. Just a temperamental weather storm venting to the world it was unhappy. So they stood their and listened to the simple growing crescendo of rain and held onto each other like their own life preservers.

***1 hour later***

Soon the world and the rain had gotten too cold for Bella and Felix. So holding onto each other for dear life they ran home. Not after stopping a few times to jump in puddles and scream Singing In The Rain at the top of their lungs. Finally they had made it home. Felix had kicked off his converse and peeled off his drenched socks. Bella had pulled off her combat boots and left Felix in the doorway to handle his sock situation.

Bella had run upstairs to turn on the blazing hot water and shivered from her soaked clothes. Running to their bedroom she grabbed her comfy clothes, and two towels before sprinting back into the bathroom.

Felix laughed at Bella's "COLD COLD COLD" cries from upstairs before he heard her step into the shower that was followed by "HOT HOT HOT!" He shivered in his hoodie and jeans before walking over to the living room and turning on the T.V.

Static

Groaning Felix switched the channel to different stations.

Nothing

Not even sports stations. Felix only watched those if he had to when they were bored. Cooking was gone. So was news and the other stations.

He walked over to the T.V and hit the top of it to see if it would work. Nothing it just made him cuss profusely at the stupid box thing they called a T.V.

Giving up, Felix slumped against himself and sprawled across the plushy carpet. He groaned and closed his eyes so upset about the loss of his Spongey friend with Squarepants who was the only one who could console them on this rainy day.

Meanwhile, Bella had dried of from her shower and had successfully pulled her hair up in a bun and had out on her comfy clothes that consisted of a baggy sweater and soft sweat pants.

"Felix?" She calls down the stairs. After hearing a groan she rushes into the living room. Seeing him sprawled across the floor she smiles and walks over to him. Kneeling down she places her ear to his chest.

"No pulse" Bella mocks seriousness and pulls up his shirt and starts soft compressions on his chest. A smile flickers on Felixes face and she brings her head over and leans close to his face. She leans in and kisses him softly on the forehead.

He opens his eyes slowly and looks up at her smiling face. A stray lock of hair is wrapped around his finger as he plays with it gently.

"God I am so in love with you."

He sees her blush right away and grabs her face gently pulling her mouth to his. they kissed for a moment before she pulled away and pecked his cheek.

"And I you my darling but my tummy is growling."

She stood up and walked to the kitchen calling over her shoulder, "What do you want? It can either be burning lava hot or frozen."

Felix laughed and called back "Bella's cooking."

"Shut up or you get no food."

"Fine!" he pouted and looked for the DVD seasons of Supernatural and Firefly.

"Firefly or Supernatural?"

"Firefly."

So the adorable couple ate burning hot Annie Shells and watched the whole DVD together. The rain poured all night but they just snuggled together on the couch and on the floor watching the amazing mash of western and sci-fi that was Firefly in pure peaceful bliss.
