Jason's Pov

Jason felt miserable. He was the head of a quest to save the world and now his two of his Greek friends were down in Tartarus, probably dead. Jason wanted to cry and thrash around and he wanted to jump down into Tartarus and bring back his friends. But Percy had made Nico promise him to bring the other demigods to the other side of the Doors of Death. And Jason thought that Nico was someone who kept his promise.

"We have to get to to Epirus. I have no choice but to listen to Percy. I promised him," insisted Nico.

"We have to stop the ship to repair it, Nico! I have been telling you this since, what? Twelve hours?" Leo said.

Before the arguement turned into a fully-fledged flight, Jason said, "Stop it guys! I know you guys are all miserable. Percy and Annabeth were my friends too. Please just listen to me. Leo, repair the ship. Everyone will help including me and Nico try to see whether Percy and Annabeth are alive."

Nico closed his eyes immediately. When things about Percy and Annabeth sprang up, everyone obeyed. After a minute, Nico said, "They are alive. But only just barely."

Everyone nodded and went to do what the Supreme Commander of the Argo II told them. Jason was given something he found was really easy for him. He controlled the air and flew up to the sails and positioned them right. He started thinking about what they were supposed to do next. They would go to Epirus while fighting all the monsters that Gaea threw at them. And Percy and Annabeth  would have to go through Tartarus and probably won't even survive the monsters waiting for them there. Jason shuddered and soon after he had finished what he had been given, he went to his room and shut the door. He could hear everyone else too shutting the door. Then sobs erupted from every room excpet for of course, Percy's and Annabeth's room. They were all unhappy but Jason couldn't bring myself to cry. He was not upset but greatly horrified.

He went to his bed and crashed down, fully-clothed. He prayed for a dreamless sleep but no such luck. In his dreams he saw a boy who looked about twelve. He had sea-green eyes and jet-black hair. Jason suddenly jumped when he realized that the boy  was Percy. Percy was standing in a pool of water and there was a sign above his head which glowed bright green. It looked like a trident and all around Percy, Jason  saw that everyone was kneeling, even the Ares cabin who looked like they had just been made to eat some stinking slugs. Percy looked miserable but then he looked straight at Jason as if he could see him and before Jason could run away, he caught hold of his hand. He said,

"Jason, find a way to reach Epirus. You will somehow reach there, but you need help. Go to my father, Poseidon. I know you will be scared and Hazel will also be afraid to go into my father's domain but don't worry. Just pray to my dad. He already knows that you are coming. Please for my sake and Annabeth's, go there."

Jason just stood there dumbfounded. Then he said, "Percy... Is that really you?"

"Oh no... It is some other guy named Percy, who is not your best.... sorry, good companion at all. You are right. I am not Percy. I had to take Percy's body to convince you this. Don't freak out or something."

"Then, who are you?"

The ex-Percy suddenly got a strange look in his eyes and said, "My name is Percy. Not your Percy. My name is just Percy."

"Are you a demigod?"

"You ask such simple questions. But I have no time. You have to go now. Please Jason, find Perseus Jackson for me. I love him dearly, Jason. I know you don't like Percy that much but what you don't know is that he has been working for hours to do something taht would earn your very close friendship. He likes you Jason, and without him, you will lose in your journey. He is vital for your last journey. And Jason, Percy made something for you. It's there in your cupboard. I have to go now. Goodbye, Jason Grace. Do not fail in your quest,"

"Wait! Don't go," started Jason but the boy had disappeared. Jason woke up then and got up from bed. He went over to his cupboard and opened it. He saw a very tiny bottle made out of sea-foam. Inside it was what looked like sea-green liquid with a golden syrup. Attached to the bottle was a small note which said,

Hi Jason,

I want you to take this. Its a liquid which allows you to stay safe in the sea. Please do not ask me why I gave you this. But its just important. But this won't be of any use to you or Hazel. You can share it equally among Piper, Leo and Frank. You can stay as long as you can in the sea and make full use of it. I am sorry that you can't use this but keep the bottle after you drink the liquid. It will be very... useful.

Brother,

Perseus Jackson

Jason almost cried. Percy really was stupid but sometimes he was an Athena. Jason never really thought of Percy as smart or intelligent but now he had proved Jason wrong. He opened the door to his room and stepped out still holding the bottle. If there were more secrets in this ship, it would be in Percy's room. He sighed and walked to Percy's room.
