Miss Small had gotten a phone call about 20 minutes ago to ask Dianne go somewhere, I was getting a bit worried, I know I am not her boyfriend but I like her so much although nobody can know because I am dating Tina, one of her friends. Before I start getting more worried Dianne comes in. She stops at the front an looks around signalling someone called Jack. I heard a few murmurs to her asking if she was okay or if she had been crying and my heart ached. She returned to her seat next to me and continued on with her assessment her hair covering her face as she wrote. I leaned down slightly to see if she had been crying but I didn't see much.

When the bell rang she packed up and her friends Eve and Cerys came over fussing her, she nodded her head at something Eve said and a tear rolled down her cheek. I tried not to worry and went to the maths class Tina was in but she wasn't far behind because her other friends were in the class.

"I heard your Mum when I went through reception" Grace said.

"I'm not surprised. Miss Welsh called me out of lessons and I didn't manage to talk for 10 minutes as soon as I got into her office I let out a cry I had been hiding from Mum" The girls engulf her in a hug before Dylan and Callum are made aware of what was happening and joined in the hug. I tried my hardest to resist the hug until Tina came out  But before I could say anything else she joined the hug. Had something happened I didn't know about? After a while everyone broke away and Dianne was told she could go home.

"What happened to her?" I asked Tina.

"I don't think it's my place to say you'll have to ask her" she sniffles a little before putting her hand in mine, but it didn't seem right.
