After about an hour, the tornado finally ended. A few people was injured, some disappered. The school was in a huge mess. Students are advised to stay at home for the time being. Am I dead? I thought to myself. I touched myself and could feel my own legs and face. At least I am not dead... I thought hopefully. "Ouch!" I had a cut on my elbow from the broken glass window. I went out of the school and saw Mum standing there with a worried look on her face. "Mum!" I cried out. Mum heard me and saw me running towards her. "I am so glad you're ok," she said, tears rolling down her cheeks.
At home, I went to clean my wound and plaster it. Mum made me lunch and we both ate together while watching the news. It said that 56 students and 5 teachers were injured while trying to protect some students. There was even 32 students who had disappeared without a trace. Fortunately no one had died. Mum switched off the television and turned to me. "Don't think too much of it, you will be fine." Mum comforted me. "Don't worry, I am fine," I replied. After lunch I went back to my room and wrote a diary entry :

Today there was a tornado. I was scared I would die, but luckily I didn't but had a cut. I am grateful that I am alive and that small cut means nothing. Why must there be earth warming? Is mother earth really angry with us humans and the way we created earth warming? I don't know but
I stopped writing as I felt very tired after the incident. As soon as my head touched the pillow, I felt into a deep sleep.
