Hello! :d finally completed the second chapter! :D sorry for the extremely long wait! D: hope y'all like it!

Cars were slowly filling in the school carpark slots and the usually cautious Aisling precariously ambled across the road. The guys from the guitar club were sitting under a shady willow tree, in the midst of composing a song, and a certain dark haired guy caught her attention. He was playing the bass guitar, and his fingers danced nimbly across the guitar frets. Only when he looked up did Aisling realise that she had been gawking at him.

His eyes were a beautiful shade of blue, and it made him look mysterious, not to mention the fact that his high cheekbones complemented them. Aisling flushed and whipped her head back in the other direction.

He was so vaguely familiar, although she couldn't put her finger on it. Hugging her books tightly against her chest, she strode into the school hall.

Walking into the school hall always seemed like a difficult task to Aisling. Not that it was crowded, or packed with students who had just returned from the gym and were rummaging through their lockers, but she was always afraid of attention. Every time someone walked down the hallway, people's heads would turn around, but most of the time only for a short while, it was only the "It" girls and boys people would look out for.

Still, Aisling hated it. The roaming eyes would sometimes make her feel uncomfortable and have sweaty palms, which she always wiped on the back of her jeans. Today, it was the same, and Aisling could do nothing but mentally tell herself to not look at others in the eye, again. It would make things so much more awkward.

Making her way to her classroom, luckily, which was the one nearest to her, she quickly settled in her seat and dropped the books on her table haphazardly. There were still fifteen minutes till lessons started, but most students had already started to fill in.

Hushed voices were wafting through the air, and Aisling turned her head around. What was so interesting they couldn't leave it till lesson time?

There he was, with his perfect hair, perfect eyes, perfect body and perfect everything. It would even make a handsome boy's toes curl with envy. He was that good looking, not to mention he was probably smart, at least smart enough to be in Aisling's class.

It was him.

The boy Aisling saw under the tree, playing the guitar. And he is musically inclined. How perfect could he get.

Her face flushed, even though she had no idea why. She had this habit of turning as red as a tomato whenever she saw something hot. It was something she was afraid to tell anyone, even her parents. They would think she was boy-crazy. Maybe she was, but only too afraid to admit it.

Alas, Aisling's plan to try pretend she wasn't gawking at him failed. Of course, he would have noticed the way she was staring at him, even some girls were giggling when they saw her face. The boy's face was expressionless, at first. Then it turned into a mix of confusion. Surprise. And then anger. A horrible mix of bitter anger, so fiery Aisling could see his eyes burning with rage. It was as if she had murdered his entire family, and he wanted revenge from her.

Ailsing only remained speechless, apparently shocked from the boy's reaction. She hadn't done anything to him, much less even talked to him. Why did he react that way when he saw her? Was he uncomfortable with her staring? He must have noticed the others too, so what exactly had she done?

Throughout the whole lesson, the only thought going through Aisling's mind was Blake. She managed to get his name from her neighbour Suzanne. But what puzzled her was why didn't the teacher introduce Blake. Doesn't anyone ever notice him? He's so obvious, what with him being the tallest guy in class, sitting in the middle of the "IT" gang.

She was desperate for answers, poked Suzanne and asked, her voice hushed, "Hey," Suzanne, who was occupied with what Mr Woodley was saying, even though it didn't seem interesting, turned her head around, irritation written straight across her face.

"What?" She hissed. Okay someone had a bad hair day. Aisling shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly.

"DO you know who's that guy?" She pointed discreetly at Blake.

Suzanne only rolled her eyes. "Didn't I tell you just now? He's Blake, the captain of the senior basketball team. And people are saying he'll be crowned prom king. Don't you ever see him in school? Or at least, the crowd forever surrounding him."

OH.

AIsling only kept quiet. She was definite Blake was new here, or at least, she thought. People were acting as though he really was a senior here. No matter how hot he is, his hotness can't fry my brains. Does he think no one would notice.

And it was as if Blake had read her thoughts, the moment she started ranting in her head, Blake turned, keeping his gaze on Aisling. He stared straight at her, his eyes locked on hers , almost like he could kill her with just one look from his eyes. Or maybe he really could...

Aisling squirmed in her chair, and averted Blake's gaze. Something's definitely not right. Covering her face with her hair, she pretended to be listening in class and tried to clear her thoughts. What if he could read my mind... Panicking, Aisling tried to clear any unwanted thoughts in her head, only to have them come pouring out, spilling everywhere instead.

Ugh... And then she started imagining about how Blake was a serial killer who was targeting innocent girls like her and he would mutilate them and let them die slowly. Unable to stop the overflowing thoughts, Aisling silently screamed. SHUT UP!!!

Mr Woodley's hand stopped abruptly in the middle of writing down an English term. He dropped the chalk in his hand, and it dropped onto the ground in slow motion and rolled away. Everyone hushed and slowly turned around, and finally their eyes landed on Aisling- the source of the unwanted noise(yes instead of saying it in her head she actually screamed out loud in the middle of an english class).

Mr Woodley said nothing but raised an eyebrow. "Aisling, do you have something to say?"

Everyone eyed Aisling suspiciously, some smirking to see her embarrass herself in front of the whole class. It wasn't as if she hadn't embarrassed herself enough in front of the public. She only sat there, with her ears as red as tomatoes, speechless.
