Tommy parked his truck in a clearing deep in a wooded area. The boys helped eachother gather brush, wood, bark, anything they could find. They let Angel sit it out on the back of Tommy's tailgate wrapped in a thick blanket. The men stared at their pile proud of themselves. Tommy ran back to the truck grabbing some old news papers and a lighter. Richie followed behind him closely offering him a hand with starting the fire. Angel looked to Mark curiously catching him staring at the boy. Angel smiled softly waving gently to the man but he turned away quickly walking off. Angel titled his head to the side a little bummed out.He was soon surprised when he turned to see Dean's bright blue eyes.
"Sorry, you must be cold, the fire will be ready soon." He said.
"You're so sweet." Angel caressed the mans face looking him over. "I am pretty cold, but I'm glad there was a blanket."
Dean jumped up onto the tail wrapping an arm around Angel rubbing his forearms to warm him up.
"Is that better?" He asked.
"I should be calling you Angel." He cooed.
Tommy and Richie backed up as the fire began to roar. They neared eachother then looked over to Dean to wave them down. Dean leapt back off the truck holding his arms out to help Angel down. He kept the blanket wrapped around him as he took Dean's help, they walked towards the bon fire where Richie had set up a fet foldable chairs. They sat down watching over Mark as he joined them with a large cooler with more beers. He sat on the other side of Tommy and Richie cracking open a beer as he fell silent. Angel watched him carefully wanting to reach out to him but didnt want to abandon Dean.
Dean opened the cooler getting himself and Angel a drink opening it before handing it to him. Angel looked the drink over before placing it in the cup holder then standing up.
"Where are you going?" Dean asked.
"Just going to taken a tinkle sweet heart. Be back soon."
Angel walked around the campfire towards the woods behind a tree. He was about to pull down his shorts until movement in the bushes startled him.
"D-Dean?" He whispered to the forest with no response.
He walked closer to the bush moving the small branches aside as he pulled out his phone light. He looked around but could see nothing and hear no more movement. Just as he was about to go back to the tree he felt a hand on his shoulder. He let out a small Yelp turning around quickly to see Mark standing behind him.
"Dude what the fuck, ya tryin to give me a heart attack?!" Angel snapped brushing himself off.
"Hey." Mark grabbed Angel's slender wrist pulling him to look at his serious hazel gaze. "Don't run off alone." He said.
"What?" Angel ripped his hand from Mark's grasp. "Who do you think you are, my father?!" He grumbled. "You've been nothing but an eye tease all night, if you wanted to get me alone with you, you coulda just asked."
"That's not what I'm saying!" Mark snapped. "Just... If you're going to go off alone ask Tommy, Richie, or me to go with you."
"What?" Angel raised a brow. "What about Dean."
"Dean-"
"Angel?" Dean called into the wooded area.
"Shit." Mark breathed.
Dean found the two and lifted his arms up as in to say. 'There you are'
"What are you two doing out here, we were starting to get the wrong idea." Dean stared at Mark.
Mark slightly stepped out in front of Angel making the pale man begin to worry.
"We were just talking." Mark answered.
"Come on man, this isn't the first time you went off alone with someone to 'talk'. I just didn't think Angel was your type." Dean toyed.
Angel could see Mark clenching his fists in rage. Mark took a step forward but Angel stopped him.
"Hey, hey. Theres not point in fighting over little ol' me. Mark was just warning me to not run off alone. I didn't stop to think about bears or cougars, silly city brain." Angel explained. "But now I'm ok, I'll just do my business closer to the fire you guys can go."
"It's still not safe." Mark argued.
"Then I'll stay with him." Dean spoke up. "You don't have a problem with that, right Mark?"
Mark stared at him untrusting then looked back at Angel.
"It's ok sweet cakes. Go back to the fire and have some fun. We'll be quick." He winked.
Mark hesitated briefly before leaving back towards the fire. As he dissapeared Angel looked up at Dean who looked upset momentarily but smiled when he saw Angel watching him.
"Y'know. You really don't gotta hang around here, I'll be fine."
"Hm? You don't trust me?" Dean frowned.
"Uh, no that's not what I said." Angel lifted a brow.
"Cause you can trust me Angel." Dean grabbed Angel's waiste, this time he was not gentle. "I can protect you out here." He leaned in trying to kiss the slender boy.
Angel began to push him away but Dean's grasp tightened. "I get that sugar, but I want to take a whiz and that's kinda.... Private."
Dean's playful smile turned. "But you were going to let Mark watch."
"No I wasn't!" Angel squirmed.
"Then why were you two out here alone?" Dean backed Angel up pinning him to a tree.
"I told you he was just warning me." Angel snapped slamming his knee into Dean's groin. Dean fell over as Angel escaped his grasp. "And now I can see why."
"You bitch." Dean groaned.
"Like I havent heard that one before." Angel reached under his vest to pull out a small knife. "Now, you're gonna leave me alone, or is this gonna have to get messy?"
