Fawn was distracted, that was for sure. She was meant to be studying but alas, her mother had called her and her roommate stumbled in drunk, dragging some other classmate in and the two were practically ripping each other's clothes off.

She left her dorm room and traveled three floors down to the common rooms and sat on a counter with her laptop, her sketchbook, quite a few pencils and pens, chargers, and an iced coffee.

"Fawn? You okay pumpkin?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, just kinda zoned out." Fawn let out a small giggle and a grin planted itself across her face as she heard a distant cry from one of her little sisters.

"So? Did you find anything in your schedule that worked out?"

Fawn furrowed her eyebrows together, pulling up notes on her laptop, seeing the schedule she had typed up staring back at her.

"Uh next week I'll probably come visit Wednesday, I don't have any classes that day and I can stay until 11-ish Thursday, I have a 1:00 shift at the café."

Her mother grinned and nodded.

"That work's out perfectly, do you think you could drive home Tuesday night after work? Gerard has a show coming up and I know they would all love to see you again. After all the last time they saw you was" "When I turned 16, I know mom. I'll try but no guarantees. I've got to get back to studying but I'll talk to you tomorrow, tell Lia and Lisa I love them, dad too"

"You can tell him yourself!" Fawn laughed as Brendon's face popped up,the dark circles under his eyes were very clear but his energetic demeanor didn't make it seem too bad.

"Hey, dadd-io" Brendon laughed and Fawn shifted her legs, rolling her eyes at the unfinished power point her seatmate was supposed to help with.

"Hey, baby cakes, how's the party life? Though, you look like a total nerd right now. Messy hair and college sweater."

Fawn flipped her father off, earning an offended gasp followed by a laugh and an 'love ya kiddo, use protection!' and the sound of her mom hitting her dad upside the head.

"Alright, I'll let you get back to studying, baby girl. See you soon, okay?"

"You got it mom, love you"

"Love you too, sweetie."

With that the call disconnected and Fawn realized it was now 4:30am, two hours before she had to be at work. She sighed and shut her laptop, drinking the last ofher iced coffee and unplugging her things, heading back u to her dorm room and finding the whiteboard on the door that said 'Fawn - left for small party be back by noon'. She rolled her eyes and unlocked the door, walking in and plugging her electronics in, flopping on her bed and drifting to sleep surprisingly fast.
