Chapter 1

Soobin's POV

First day of matric! Im excited waahhhh but im also really scared. I make my way to my full body mirror and fix my tie. I then scan myself for any imperfections but found none. I must say over the last two years my facial features have improved REALLY well. Im more handsome than i used to be. I guess puberty decided it's time i shine brighter than the stars. Oh no. I open my eyes widely. In my school the scholars say that the jocks usually get attracted to pretty things and once they claim them they influence them to do bad things and that leads them to ruining their lives and their futures. I start pacing around my room.

Oh no, oh no, oh no. What if a jock gets attracted to me? What if they ruin my life? What if i don't get into a good college? What if i don't graduate this year? What if i do wrong? What if i do drugs and alcohol? What if i become a bad person? What if- NO! I will NOT let this happen. I suck up all my 'what if's' and make my way to the door not forgetting to grab my blazer on the bed and closing the door behind me. I head downstairs and walk towards the kitchen. I enter and see my mommy cooking. I go beside her and kiss her on her cheek. She jumps, a little startled.

"Hello mommy, what did you make for me today?" I asked slightly giggling. "Awww Soobinie you scared mommy for a bit. Never do that again, i might get a heart attack" she says as i nod smiling widely "and mommy made you a pizza for lunch today and i put in 5 slices. I also made pancakes for breakfast so why don't you go sit down by your father ok?" She said and i nodded reluctantly making my way to the dining area. I don't like my daddy. He never supports the decisions i make. And he hurts me. He says that if i can take pain i can become a real man and protect my future girlfriend or wife and i don't want neither. Im gay i like boys but if i ever tell him it won't end well.

One day i was in my room, at night, doing my homework and the lights suddenly went out. I stopped what i was doing and used my phone's flashlight to go and see what the problem is since i was home alone. I went downstairs, into the basement, trying to find the board with all the switches. I went closeby it but before i could someone attacked me. I looked up and saw it was my daddy. He then started punching me and yelling at me to fight back and even called me a little b. I don't want to say the word. Profanities are not my friend. They're bad and hurtful words. My mommy came in and saw he was hurting me. She told him to leave me alone or she'll do the exact same thing to him.

I enter the dining room and sit at the end of the table far away from my daddy. "Morning father" i say as he exchanges the greeting as well. "First day of the last year right?" He asks as i nod. He continues reading his newspaper as i take out my phone and scroll through my instagram. I spot a pic of a handsome blue haired male in my home feed. I look at the username and see it's my friend Beomgyu. I raise my brow in confusion. This is definitely not Beomgyu......who is this? I shake my head and carry on scrolling. My mommy then arrives and puts the pancakes down as my daddy and i dig in. We sit in silence until my daddy asks a question. "Any girlfriend yet Soobin?" I shake my head and carry on eating frowning a little. "Are you planning on getting one yet?" My frown deepened as i shake my head again, still looking down at my food.

As he was about to ask another dumb question but i stand up. "Thank you mommy for the pancakes but i have to get going before I'm late for school" i say as i hastily walk to the front door putting on my shoes and picking up my bag. I exit the house and saw Beomgyu waiting for me. Beomgyu is my best friend along with Huening Kai. They've been by my side since young and i wouldn't ask the world for any more better friends. Beomgyu's been a jock since 10th grade and Huening Kai has been an art student since 8th grade. I decided to be a music student since i had no one to hangout with after school when i had no homework. Beomgyu and i are in the same grade. Huening Kai is in 11th grade.

Anyways I'm currently sitting in the car with a wide eyed, open mouthed Beomgyu looking at every feature of my body."When the fuck did you become this handsome?" He asked still surprised. "No swearing and just drive please~" i whine as i softly hit Beomgyu on his arm. "Awww you've become more cuter too not that you weren't cute before you still were but awwwww!" He coos at me in a baby voice as i frown and pout at him. He then laughed and started the car. As he drove the car i smiled. Stupid. A few mins later we arrived and currently in the school's administration for our new timetable. Huening Kai's here too.

"Guys i have to go to a football meeting after i put my books in my locker so I'll see you at lunch break" Beomgyu said as Kai and i nodded. We got our schedules and made our way to our lockers. After that we exchanged byes and parted our own ways. It's really scary when you're walking alone in the hallway without your friends. I look around to find the classroom I'm currently looking for. Just then i hear a bunch of whistles. I look behind me and see a few jocks sitting on the stairway looking at someone that's hopefully behind me. I turn my head to look behind me and found that no one was there. OH GOD. They're whistling at me! No no no my life is over. I swear it's over. A blue haired male started walking towards me with a smirk. I remember him. His the guy from the picture!

I gulp since he's coming closer and closer. "Hey beautiful what's your name? Are you new? I can show you around if you'd like?" He says seductively. I blink my eyes repeatedly. "I-im not n-new" i say as his smirk grew wider at my stuttering. "Well i haven't seen you around here......sophomore?" He asks."S-senior" i reply as he was taken aback at my response. "Your name is....?" He asks genuinely curious. "S-soobin. Choi....Soobin" i say mumbling the last part while looking down shyly. He lifts my chin up and smiles."Im Choi Yeonjun. Senior and Captain of the basketball team. "There's no need to be shy beautiful. Yeonjun will take care of you" as he said the last part my face turned beet red and i immediately ran away.

I crouched and breathed in and out since i was out of breath. I look up and saw the class i was looking for all along. I enter as the bell ran. I sat down at the wall, in the 3rd bench. Suddenly the teacher came in and then the students came scattering inside the class and sat at their seats of their choice. As everyone sat down i looked around and no one was sitting next to me. I smiled. Yesss!!! I'm alone!!!!

"Okay! Good morning class. My surname is Mr Kim and I'll be your english teacher for the year." He said and smiled as his dimples were visible. I stare amazed at the sight. A knock was heard and Mr Kim invited the person in. "Hello and what is your name?" Mr Kim asked. "Yeonjun. Choi Yeonjun." As the name came out of the person's mouth my attention went to the door. I stare at Yeonjun in horror. Oh no why's he in my class! I'm doomed! I swear I'm doomed! "Ahh ok well have a seat and I'm Mr Kim your english teacher" Mr Kim informed him as i look around for any other empty seats but found none. I sigh. "Got it" Yeonjun said as he made his way towards the seat right next to me. Just know that this bench is connected which means he could invade my privacy. "Hey beautiful, you miss me?" He said as he sat down. Oh no. My life is officially over.
