Roger's POV
"Thank you Brighton!" Freddie said as we four made our way off the stage. "That was one of our best concerts yet!" Brian yelled.I remained quiet, fully knowing what would happen next. It's the same after every concert, has been for the last year and a half. John would go out with Veronica, Brian would go out with Chrisse, and Freddie would go out with Mary. The cycle would repeat after every concert, leaving me to wallow in self pity in my hotel room.
I knew what would happen tomorrow too, Freddie always has a massive hangover and lays in bed; and Brian and John went out with their girlfriends. Then the next day Freddie would lie to Mary and me, but of course, not at the same time. He would tell Mary he was going to a club, and then head to my hotel room, by the end of the night he would tell me a bunch of lies such as "I only love you", "I'm going to leave her soon", and "You're the only person who does this to me".
Immediately after we would finish, Freddie would get up leave and not talk about it until the next time we are intimate. After he leaves I'm always so cold, with nobody to love.
John's POV
I know something is up with Roger, he's not being his usual cheery self. Me and Brian have been talking about it lately, and how Roger has lost a lot of quality time with the band.
"John," Veronica said, knocking me out of my trance.
"Yes Ronnie?" I say back.
" I have to talk with you about our relationship." She says.
"Ok I'm all ears." I say smiling.
"I know you're gay," she says.
My smile fades fast, how did she find out? I haven't cheated on her, or brought up the the matter once.
"And I think I'm a lesbian." She says quietly.
"I'm sorry Veronica." I say, tears threatening to spill out of my eyes.
"I'm sorry too John, I've known for a while." She says.
"I'm proud of you for telling me Ronnie." I said.
"Can we still be friends, please?" She pleads to me.
"Of course Ronnie!" I said and pulled her into a hug, not a romantic gesture, but a friendly one.
