"We should break up. You are a married man. I don't want to have a relationship with a married man."
"BUT I DONT LOVE HER! I just love you."
More tears streaked down his flawless face. He was on his knees, begging for his dear life. He could not do anything without his love. His large hand securely wrapped around the womans hands. His body trembled because of the crying and the thoughts of her leaving him made him shivered.
"It's me or her and obviously you made your choice by marrying her." She looked at the crying man. Frown clearly showed on her face. Taehyung is her everything but when she found out he were married to that woman, she could not fee anything besides anger and jealousy. She understood that Taehyung just did that for his parents yet that would not going to cover up or maybe cooled down the fire set up in her heart.
"I-I cant l-let you go."
"Prove it. If you really love me, you have to prove it. But for now, we need a break. "
Turning her heels, the woman walked away without looking back, leaving crying Taehyung on the floor. The clicking sound faded as her lean figure disappear from his sight. Taehyung knew he did not have a choice besides following what she wanted. She is a woman with her words.
However, Taehyung is not a quitter. He wanted her and he would get her.
Without second thoughts, Taehyung shot up onto his feet, eyes full of determination to win her back. He lost her because he was so stupid to deny his parents' wish without telling them the truth that he has a girlfriend. He should knew the consequences.
"I won't let you go, babe. You are mine. I will prove it to you. I will win you back."
--------------------------------------------------------
I parked my car at the side of the road. My eyes widen at the sight of the house. I looked back at the text that Taehyung gave me, reading the address carefully. Getting out of the car, I walked towards the front gate, checking the carved address beside the bell.
It's the right address.
I put in the code and the clicking sound echoed, signaling the gate was unlock now. I stepped inside and my jaw dropped. "Holy shit."
It looked exactly like my dream house. Not that exact, but still, this is what I want for a house.
I walked along the white pathway, reaching the enormous black door before putting in another passcode and entered the house. Again, I was mesmerized by the interior décor. Taehyung's father surely had a high taste beside of a thick wallet in his pocket. Climbing up the stairs, a room on the right caught my attention. The room wall made with glass, making the room transparent. A yellow sticky note pasted on the door. I took it and almost burst out in tears reading the message.
'I hope you love the new house. I prepared a room for you to do your work. The equipment are all there. You don't need to stay late at your office anymore and spend more time at home with Taehyung. Sincerely, Dad.'
I looked into the workroom and smiled. Taehyung's dad is just too sweet. He never changed, still being the sweetest man. I looked over the clock on the wall and walked out the room. I searched for the master bedroom and entered it. I took off my clothes and went inside the bathroom.
I really need a good shower now. Those projects made me aching all over my body. After few minutes, I went out and changed into something comfortable. I walked down to the kitchen to cook something for dinner. Opening the refrigerator, I took out all the ingredients to make beef stew. Taehyungs parents were really well prepared. They even stocked up the fridge with all the groceries.
I start making the beef stew, knowing it was Taehyung's favorite.
I turned off the stove, carefully carried the pot to the kitchen counter, and smiled to myself. I shrieked and almost jumped out from my skin at the sight of tall figure standing in the corner. My heart beating fast as if I had done sprinting for 100 meter. Closing my eyes, I clenched my chest, trying to calm down.
"Since when you are home? I did not hear you coming."
He just stood there without words. His face was blank but his eyes somewhat full of hatred.
"Have you eaten? I made your favorite. Lets eat together." I beamed, pulling his hand to the dining table. The next move completely make me dumbfounded. I turned around to look at him, confusion written all over my face. I looked down to my hand that he yanked harshly seconds ago.
"What's wrong, Tae?"
"Don't fucking call me that. You don't deserve it!"
"Tae, tell me what is wr-"
"Marrying you is wrong. Agreeing to all of this marriage is wrong! I lost my girlfriend and because of that, I got nothing to you but pure hatred!"
He walked closer to me. His sharp stare sent chills down my spine and it made me take a whole courage to keep standing.
"This marriage is nothing but pure business. I don't love you and I won't ever fall in love with you."
