Chapter four

Natalie's POV

I can't believe one of the new kids is already picking on me, the one I shared my classes with who I got to know as penny and then char who helped me pick my notes when her sister tossed them around or as she said when I "bumped into her".

I got into my mom's car and kept on thinking about it, she was mean to me for no valid reason at all. After we pulled into my driveway I stepped out and headed straight for my room. I fell on my medium sized bed and kept reminding myself about how much I worked to get in Westminster and I can't let anyone ruin that. After doing some school walk I decided to freshen up, I walked into my also medium sized bathroom and took a hot shower. After I got out I heard my phone beep and I went over to check it out. It was from char, we exchanged numbers at school today.

Charlotte: hey, do you mind showing my siblings and I around?
Charlotte: oh and don't worry poppy won't be coming she had her period.

Me: smiles, sure text me your address.

Charlotte: Thanks you're the best♡

I really am. I muttered

I got to char's house and I was amazed at how big and beautiful it was. They even had their own gate, I didn't want to go through those weird formalities so I just called char and told her I was outside she replied with an okay and I put my phone back in my purse. Soon enough the gates opened revealing two mustang's. In one a really good looking boy was driving, must be the brother char was talking about. I noticed that poppy wasn't here as char said I was relieved. The cute guy, Penelope, zara and leah were in one car, while char, felicity, brooke and I were in the other. I really wanted to sit near mr cute guy, who I later found as was Aaron but with Char's persistency I had time for it.

So I already told you why poppy couldn't come and then heaven and nevaeh also couldn't come because they had to go somewhere with my mom. Char said while driving

I chuckled slightly because I knew nevaeh was just heaven spelt backward.

I know how weird it must sound that was my actual reaction when I heard it but I googled it and the name actually exists lmao. She said

I grinned at her comment while she just smiled back at me.

I felt quite intimidated by the Wilsons not because of their wealth which they didn't brag about but because of being the only one speaking American while they're speaking English. I took them to a simple fast food and had to deal with them calling chips crisps and asked for pudding instead of American style "desserts". It was fun hanging with them.

So Natalie what university do you plan to go to? Aaron asked

This was the first time he spoke to me today, he just occasionally stared at me like he was studying me.

Um..ma..maybe Harvard or UGA but uga has a higher probability.

He cocked an eyebrow at me before nodding, I mentally face palmed for stuttering in front of him. Then I thought about it, see him looking all gorgeous without trying and there was me with long brown wavy hair, a dark skin and brown boring eyes oh I guess you're wondering I'm black although my dad had a white mom. But I was still a black girl.

I had so much fun with you tonight we should do it again. Char said as she dropped me in front of their gate to take my car.

I beamed at her and gave a small wave before driving off. I guess I'm finally making some friends.
