A/N: Italics means that person is speaking Chinese.

Teddy's past and home life was something that wasn't brought up very often. On the rare occasion that it was brought up it was given a vague and quick response.

However, this interview was different. The MC wasn't going to back down until he got his answer. Teddy seemed to notice this and give him his answer.

"When I left for Korea my dad wasn't very happy about it. He was furious, actually. He told me if I left I shouldn't even bother coming back. Even after my years of training I haven't been back, I haven't even heard from my family since I left," Teddy said looking at the MC. Teddy had briefly told the boys but not in much detail.

"What about your mom? How did she feel about it?" The MC asked the small girl.

Teddy took a deep breath and then started talking, "my mother supported me wholeheartedly but she wouldn't dare go against my dad. I can't blame her either. It's been hard not being able to talk to her, we were close. But I choose to leave and I'll never regret that decision. I'm doing what makes me happy and being able to make a difference in people's lives is untradeable."

Jeongin put his hand on the girl's back and rubbed it soothingly. Teddy smiled sadly and gave her attention back to the interview.

Three Weeks Later~~

Stray Kids were bouncing about a stage at one of their concerts. They were singing to Voices but they weren't dancing to it. They were all just doing their own things.

Jeongin, Han, and Changbin were trying to make a human pyramid but they were arguing about who was going to be where. Then Minho, Felix, Chan, and Woojin all had their arms around each other just vibing. Seungmin and Hyunjin were probably trying to summon some kind of demon. Teddy was over by herself giving fans high fives and taking pictures with them.

Teddy stood from her crouched position and brought her mic up to her mouth, ready to sing. She began, "now they've been-"

Teddy suddenly cut off and slowly brought her mic down. Her gaze was fixated on someone in the crowd. With her eyebrows furrowed and a small, shaky voice, "mommy?"

Teddy saw the woman nod her and Teddy was quick to hop of the stage. Teddy stood at the line of fans then began speaking in a firm, but rushed and panicked, voice, "please let me through. I need to get to her."

Thankfully there was a fan in the crowd who spoke decent enough Chinese to translate what Teddy said to the other fans. The fans parted enough for the small girl to squeeze her way through. When she reached her mother she wrapped her arms around her tightly.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't want to leave you behind but I had to. He gave me no choice. I'm so sorry please-," the girl rambled as she cried on her mother's shoulders.

Teddy was cut off when her mother abruptly pulled away and started wiping the tears from her daughters face, "you don't have anything to apologize for. You only did what you had to do. I should have reached out to you, to let you know how proud I am of you. Now go get back on that stage and show me just how much work you've been doing."

The girl nods and makes her way through the crowd once again. Just before she lets the boys hoist her up she leans over and whispers to a security guard, "make sure she finds her way to our dressing room after the show."

The security man nodded and then Minho and Chan helped Teddy up on to the stage. The members all did a quick group hugged and then carried on with their concert.

That night will forever remain as one of Teddy's most treasured memories.
