Adams returned sometime later as promised with food for all and clothing for Nara. Michael had opened the hatch and to his surprise, a mentally alert and calm Nara was sitting on the Commanders couch wrapped in a bath towel. The small parcel in her hand.

Nara felt warmth safety love as her fingers rubbed over the stones. She had always loved this sensation but unlike most stones when touched would be warmed by your touch drawing heat from you. These stones were already warm and radiant. These were simple inexpensive pieces of potch with opal shot through them. They were not valuable and not beautiful to everyone, but they were beautiful to Nara. Mesmerising patterns appeared at the combinations of potch and opal. Depending upon who was viewing the piece you could see Maps roadways, landscapes even words appear in their surface.

Adams looked at Michael and whispered, "how is she?"

"I can hear you healer." Her lips twisted up in a slight smile, "don't you know it's rude to speak of someone like that when they are in the room."

"Apologies Nara." Adams was quickly at her side, "how are you?"

"I am fine." Nara answered briskly.

"Fine!" Adams right eyebrow elevated.

"Yes, Fine! I have lost my world, but I am fine! I am confused, but I am fine!" Nara went to continue but just went back to stroking the strange little objects in her hand.

"Nara, Adams has brought some clothes would you like to get changed?" He indicated to the little blue flight suit now held in his hand.

Nara looked at Michael placing the stones aside on the table in front of the couch and rose. Taking the suit from Michael she then proceeded to the shower chamber and closed the door.

Adams looked to Michael for an explanation.

"When I woke, she had the stones in her hand and she was calm." Michael rubbed his tired neck. "I am not sure that she is alright though, I keep waiting for the storm to break."

"Have you spoken any more about what is going on?"

"No, I was waiting for you." Michael looked sheepish.

Nara took that moment to emerge from the shower chamber. The blue flight suit fitting her like a second glove, the fabric was designed to assist the wearer in staying cool or warm as they needed. Both men felt their breath catch, the suit enhanced every curve and as she had not zipped the suit to her nape of her neck a brilliant cleavage drew the eye. Her waist was small and there was a roundness to her hip and thigh that spoke of her sensuality. Tiny bare feet showed from the hem of the suit.

"Is there something else I can wear over this? I feel like a little fat frump in this." The hands she had placed on her hips only served to push her breasts higher.

Adams handed her a light over coat it had no button and once she had put it on it hung down past her knees, Michael recognised it as an examiner's jacket but it looked like a long coat on Nara. Once dressed she walked over picked up the stones and again commenced to stroke them.

"Nara." Adam quizzed. "What are they?"

"They are potch with opal," seeing their questioning gazes she explained. "potch is what precious opal is formed on. It can be grey, black or even white. Most common opal mined is called potch, so it is basically common opal with no colour. potch is a hydrated amorphous form of silica and is known as a mineraloid." Smiling she realised she had just rambled straight into a technical explanation, her verbosity amusing. Losing her smile, she went on. "I brought them from a beautiful young man that I will never see again."

Now Nara's words trailed away as she remembered going through the opals that Jean-Nicholas had presented her with. She was excited they were all so unique. The purest would have never even looked at the stones but Nara was no purest she loved the combination of the potch and the expensive opal.
