Ending Scene 2: Fixing Ratchet

Ratchet sat on the floor, panting madly with a cloth over him. He wouldn't dare to show anyone what he looks like now.

"Old friend." Optimus's voice vibrates from the doorway.

Ratchet looked back, despite having only one eye, he can see Optimus wearing his mother's scarf. Oh, how much he wanted to ask what was wrong, and yet his voice-box is destroyed.

"We're going to fix you." Optimus smiled, walked up to Ratchet and pulled the cloth off him.

Ratchet was sure Optimus was going to freak, but he didn't. And he was glad he didn't.

Ratchet took a peek behind Optimus and saw Knockout and Shockwave, which he can only guess why they were here.

"Could you excuse us?" Shockwave asked and Optimus gladly left the room.

Once Optimus was out, Knockout came over to Ratchet with a plastic body suit.

Knockout suited it onto Ratchet, securing the wires in place and making sure they weren't in their way.

"You're going to be back to normal soon, doc." Said Knockout.

Sitting up, Ratchet smiled, but he wished he could say "Please, don't call me doc."

Lying back down, Shockwave snapped metallic body clippings in place and removed the plastic suit. Tearing off the secondary head and placing its needed parts back into Ratchet, Shockwave gone on to remodeling Ratchet's outer cast and armour. The Voice-Box took awhile, but, time flew by.

In the command centre, everyone was worried sick, and waiting for the final result wasn't helping.

After what felt like, 20 hours, Ratchet finally walked into the room, looking as good as new.

"Ratchet!"
"Thank god, you're alright!"
"You must feel so much better!"
Bots yelled out as they greeted a smiling Ratchet.

"Oh yes, I do feel much better." Ratchet smiled.

Starscream was the last to approach Ratchet, because he was nervous for one reason.

"I'm...sorry, Ratchet." He said, his wings dropping as he did so.

"Don't worry about it, I don't even remember anyways." Ratchet said, holding his hand out for the seeker to take.

Starscream didn't hesitate to take it.
