First day of school,a cliché start to a cliché story. I wish I had something more exciting to talk about but the first day is just a bunch formalities and boring introductions.My school,West Eaves High, is a prestigious school I've been wanting to go to for awhile.
At first I thought it was impossible normal guy like me to get accepted in some bigshot school
I guess I was wrong.
After the principal's speech we all went to our respected classrooms.On the way I got lost since the school's so big.The hallways are wide and the furniture looks expensive,that vase might be more expensive than my rent.Well regardless, I was able to find my classroom.I take a seat to a chair next to the window,somehow this feels very cliche( it is -_- )
As I was lost in my thoughts I heard a voice I didn't want to hear the most.My friend Nick, the complete opposite of me.He's smart, cheerful handsome and easy to get along with,NOT.
He may seem like that on the outside but he is the most annoying guy on earth.I don't even know how we became friends.Since he's smart, he passed the entrance exam with flying colors, he even got a scholarship!
While here I am, a normal dude who just barely passed.
"Hey pal!" said Nick with a grin on his face "The entrance exam was so easy,is this school really that great?"
I wanted to kick him but I controlled my anger.
"Hey." I said in an annoyed tone.
"C'mon why so glum!You got in your dream school.though I don't really know why you picked this place.Cause I would take an exam for schools abroad." He grinned.
"Can't you think about my feelings for once..."I let out a sigh "And if you could've took an exam for some other school why didn't you do it."
"I would totally be much happier if you studied somewhere far..."
"Aww don't be so cold!I went here since you were going.Aren't you happy to have an amazing friend!"
"Gross, keep your gigantic ego away from me."I said, obviously disgusted.
Before I could roast Nick even more our homeroom teacher walked in.Everyone sat down frantically.The teacher introduced himself.He told us to call him Mr.Leslie.
After introducing himself it was now our turn.Darn, introductions are so boring!
When it was Nick's turn he started to introduce himself.Being the charismatic guy that he is, everyone was instantly drawn to him.
After introducing himself he gave me a satisfied look.It's as if he was saying "the whole class loves me now,how about you?"
Gosh how annoying
Now it was my turn.I knew exactly what to say.
"Hi I'm Josh and I'm completely normal"
I guess no-one got the joke.Darn this is so awkward.I sat back down...
Then the girl next to me stood up.I didn't notice her.When did she get here?
She walked to the blackboard and wrote.
"My name is Hanna"
