"Once, a heart was broken, mangled up and torn.
Once, a man felt nothing, but his self-pity, his self-hate and his reoccurring craving for the temporary feeling of love.
This man was hopeless, drowning in his sorrow. But then on an autumn's evening,
He found a girl,
A beautiful girl,
A girl he instantly fell in-love with-
He knew she should be in his world, however, he never even imagined that she'd become his world, his ambitions, and his lifeline.---
He continued with the curse of which a wicked witch summoned upon him, a love potion-
However, he found salvation in this other girl but he couldn't escape the past- though he tried, but he kept falling back into the same, bad, circumstance- over and over, again and again. He could barely pull through this weight,
He could not even see a light at the end of the tunnel,
He wanted to escape this world,
He wanted to escape the situation forever...
But the girl, the angel he solely yearned for,
Saved him,
Saved him from ending it all.I was him, the man with no shell,
The man without dreams. We were only 16 then-
As time went on, our friendship blossomed into something more, something greater, and by March of 2019, we declared love.
What we thought was JUST a relationship,
Or maybe even an attempt at finding love, for ourselves, for another- we learned so much, but above all, we learned how to love the scars in one another's hearts, as well as the flaws of another human being... We turned this relationship, into an eternity of love. Here we are, in this time and at this place, with these people surrounding us- in this moment and forevermore, our love will be displayed, with open hearts, for everyone to see.
With this ring, this symbolic sign- our symbol of forever-ness, our assemblage of unity.I wish forever upon us.
I dedicate myself to you, my beautiful fiancé and my future wife- for we are just minutes away from the rest of our lives, of which I cannot be more grateful.
You are my life and I cannot contain the excitement I hold onto within, at least not anymore, for I cannot wait to spend forever, with you by my side."
This is a poem about my ideal, and future, wedding vows for my girlfriend, it tells the story of where I was at mentally (due to a bad circumstance) when I met her, I also discuss how she saved my life. This isn't an official vow, however, it could be one day~
Anyways, I hope you all enjoy!----
