Chapter Two

Mia woke up to leaves and shells of acorns falling on her she looked up to see a squire in the tree with it's baby. she brushed all it off and the acorn shells and leafs followed the wind drifting through the trees. Mia looked around hoping it was some wild dream but then see remenber there in a tree she shook Kia a little trying to wake him he turn a lil and started to roll off the tree branch and Mia grabs his hand struggling to hold him she screamed,"KIA WAKE UP!" Kia opened a little he started to wiggle some she screamed,"WAKE UP!!!" Kia eyes slowly opened and he groggly looked around and finally looked down and wiped his eyes with his other hand and Mia said,"stop moving!"(Mia struggling to hold Kia up.) Kia eyes fully opened and he looked down and hanged there for a mintue trying to take in the shoke of the moment. Kia,"MIA HELP!!" Mia looked at holding his arm she struggles pulling him up and she said,"Kia I don't think I can Help you?" Kia replied,"what do you mean?" Mia replied,"you heared me?" Kia looked around hoping there was somthing that come save him from his possible falling destiny. Just then Mia Kia saw a cart coming this way he said,"Mia there is a cart coming if you can drop me on it we might be able to get out of this mess?" Mia replied,"I will try but I can't hold you much longer?" The cart got closer braking fallen braches dryed by the wind and where week no longer getting water to feed on snap snap crack as the cart got closer. As the cart got to the point Kia wanted it to he said,"drop me!" Mia let go off his hand hoping it would work and she watched as he fell fast and leafs got sweeped in the drop and Kia fell and hit the cart and a cloud of somthing surrounded him and the cart he has a little out of it kinda excited it worked but scared for what could come next and Mia screamed,"did it work Kia?!" Mia jumped to a shorter tree her footing was off some so she slipped and strugged to pull herself up she got on the branch and caught her breath. The cloud finally clears up some a little time later Mia,"are you ok Kia?" Kia waves his hand trying to clear more of the cloud of what he landed on then he sees two eyes stareing at him. Kia said,"Hi sorry bout that?" The cart driver said,"are you crazy that was wheet for my village!!" Kia replied,"I am very sorry?" Mia was struggling to hold back a laugh. The cart driver said,"now what about all this wheet now how are we going to make food?" Mia said,"we can try to help sir?" The cart driver said,"my name is Mike yall can stay with my family as long as yall don't brake anything looks lke yall coulddd use the help." Kia said,"thanks Mike." Mia replied,"Mia how can we trut him?" Mike coughed and replied,"I am right here also either me or another tree night?" Mia thought to herself he does got a point. kia shaking the wheet out of his hair coughing and Mia hit him. Kia,"oww what's that for?" Mia replied,"shake somewhere else!" Kia jumped up and wheet flew off him and some fell to the the hard wooden floor of the cart and soe blew in the wind. Mike said,"here he layed a some hay in the back it not the comfortablest but better then nothing." Mia and Kia said,"thanks sir." Mia and Kia sat down on the rough hay that has been sat on but its better then that wood. Mike said,"are yall ready?" they replied,"yes sir." Mike whiped the rangs of the horse with a horn on its head. Mia said,"is that a unicorn?" Mike said,"yeah why you never seen one?" Mia replied,"something like that." Mike said,"ok well there rare so yeah?" Mike said,"ok lets get a move on." Mia and Kia relaxed as best as they could. Mia turned to see a opened feild with the sun setting like the orange and red mixing with the yellow sky. Kia was watching the trees pass by till he saw some laterns and what looked like a gate in the distance. Kia tapped Mia shoulder to get her attention she looks nd they both look kinda shocked. Mike said,"we are almost there." They aproch the gate to the old and outdated village. The guard said,"who are they?" Mike replied,"some kids I found i don't know how they got here?" The guard looks questionable and replied,"Ok but if they get in trouble it's on you Mike." Mike knobbed his head and the guards open the gates.
